Through therapy, Azula became mentally stable again. But I was still advised by my friends to watch out for her no-good antics. Not like I could watch anything, mind them. Twenty nine years old and considering a child, I sat on the floor. Azula was on the sofa, but the floor was made of rock. I felt most comfortable on the rock. I smiled. We were making plans.

"You're giving birth," she said in a blunt tone. "I'm not interested in going through labour. I heard Zu-zu's wife scream when she gave birth, and I'm not doing it."

Her insistence on my being the one to bear our child made me laugh. "Yeah, whatever, flame princess," I said, rolling my eyes. "We Earthbenders have higher pain tolerance than you Firebenders anyway."

"I admit that," she answered me. "That's why you're doing it."

"How about names?" I asked. "If it's a boy..."

"Azulon." Azula's voice hit my ears. "After my grandfather."

"I would have named him Sokka, personally," I told her. "If it's a girl... I don't know what name. Any ideas?"

"...Well, how about Lin?" she asked me. "It's a popular name in the Earth Kingdom and in the Fire Nation, so there's no problems with ethnicity. There's a million Lins, and it sounds elegant." I feel her hand sweep hair from my face. "Perfect for the daughter of two nobles, isn't it?"

"Yeah," I answered with a laugh. "It sounds tough! I bet we'll have one epic kid if we call a daughter that."

"Then it's settled," Azula chuckled. "Sato's sperm bank tomorrow."

"I can't wait for our kid!" I yelled, standing and hugging Azula.
