"Okey dokey, so Ed, you go to the right of the zebra, Banzai to the left!" said Shenzi, as she was planning a zebra hunt with her clan. "Adla, you go left with Banzai!" "And Vitawny, Akeelah, you two go with Ed to the ri-eyi-eyi-eyi!" Shenzi said as she noticed a cranky-looking hyena she had never seen before alone a few yards behind them. He was just laying the ground, resting his chin on his arms, and staring straight ahead with a crabby expression. Ed looked at her with a confused face, wondering what was up with her staring. He waved his paw in front of her eyes, and then slapped her, snapping her out of it. "OW! E-E-E-Ed?" she stuttered, "W-who's that?" she asked, pointing to the new hyena. Ed giggled, talking in his laughing language. "A new clan member? Wow!" Shenzi exclaimed, back to staring. Ed laughed something to her, "Introduce myself? Oh, I can't, I'm too nervous!" Ed pulled her close to his face, and giggled quietly in her ear, "Oh, I should pretend to accidentally bump into him? Well, I guess that could work. Thanks Ed!" After telling the clan the rest of the hunting plan and sending them off, Shenzi walked cautiously towards him, hoping he wouldn't see her. But he was so busy staring ahead to notice Shenzi until she 'accidentally' bumped into him, making him annoyed.

"Why don't you watch where you're goin', miss?" He asked rudely. Shenzi raised her eyebrows. Then, while she walked out, she said,

"O-K, whatever you say, Mr. Crankypants!" Ed happened to be listening, and got real nervous, as the other hyena hated being called that. He zoomed like a rocket to the front of Shenzi, blocking her path, making her jump.

"What'd you call me?!" He shouted, making her scared.

"You hate being called that? Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't know! Please forgive me!" She pleaded, and raised her paws up in mercy during the last part with a nervous smile. Upon seeing Shenzi's cute, yet tense grin, he softened up.

"Uh, it's OK." He said, calming her down, and setting her paws down. "Sorry I was so spazzy." Shenzi giggled,

"Spazzy, that's funny!"

"Yeah," he said quietly and smiled, "So what's your name, miss?" Shenzi blushed,

"My name is Shenzi Marie Predatorra Veldetta Jaquelina Hyena!" The scruffy-furred hyena stared at her dumbly. "Oh, but you can call me Shenzi, if it's easier!" She said.

"Uh, OK then, my name's Fisi," he responded.

"Fisi? Heehee, I like that name!" Shenzi giggled, "It's cute!" His cheeks turned a deep red color,

"Uh, thanks." He said, unsure what else to say.

"Well, I've got to go," Shenzi said as she started to walk away, but Fisi stopped her.

"Wait!" he said, making her turn around,

"Yes?"

"Uh, you want to go on a hunt someday, Just you and me?" He asked shyly. Shenzi smiled.

"Of course," she said, and then she walked away. When the last strand of her tail disappeared, Fisi just stared straight ahead, watching her run off.

Then Ed snuck up on him and said "Ooh, someone's got it bad!" in his language, startling him.

"Aah, shut it, Ed!" Fisi yelled, blushing deeply. He walked away, leaving the goofy hyena rolling on his back while laughing his head off.
