A/N: Written for my claim Hermione/Chase at 7 Crossovers Challenge Community at Livejournal for the prompt Rose. I got inspired by Seal's "Kissed by a Rose" song… was listening to it the whole time I wrote it. I had ordinary was going to have it be a one where they name their kid Rose, but I ended up writing this instead.

Please note I have NOT seen all the House episodes… I'm working on it though. I'm now on episode 20 of Season 1.

Hermione Granger grinned as she stared up at her boyfriend's face. He grinned back down at her and leaned down to capture her lips in a kiss. It was slow, but was so full of love and addictive… she didn't want to stop. She never wanted to stop kissing him, and she hoped to god he didn't either.

The need of air finally parted them, but they were still close, and all of a sudden her favorite song "Kissed by a Rose" started to play on the CD player. Instantly the memory of their first kiss popped in her thoughts. Somehow, and she wasn't sure if it was accidental or intentional, but the song had instantly started playing when he leaned in to kiss her that night and ever since then the song was her favorite.

With a small laugh she leaned up to capture his lips again but he moved his head away bit. Hermione pouted, and he grinned. He moved his hand to inside his pocket and pulled something out. Hermione glanced at it and she grasped in surprise.

"Hermione, I love you, and you have no idea how much… I want to hold, love, care, and be apart of your life with the rest of mine. I want to spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you. You are the only one I will love and the only person on this whole planet that I want to be with… Will you marry me?" His words brought instant tears in her eyes; she had never felt this much joy in her life. She cried out in happiness and practically jumped into his arms and kissed him as if her life depended on it.

"So is that a yes?" Chase asked grinning, pulling away.

Hermione grinned and laughed, "Yes! It's most definitely a yes… god I love you!"

"I love you too," He pulled her even closer to him. She still had tears in her eyes as he slipped the engagement ring on her finger, however neither noticed. They were too busy caught up with each other.
