AN: Hasn't Hei and Yin's relationship become sad? It reminds me of the weaver and the farmer who can only meet once a year on a celestial brigde.

This is set to lyrics from the song 'Romantic' by Rie fu. God I love her.

One of these days I'll tell you what hurts me, without fear
Because having met you will heal any injury

Hei unwrapped the bandages around his arm and let them fall to the floor. Yin held out a bottle of peroxide to him. He applied it and hissed in pain. The wound was still a bit infected. Yin took the bottle and handed him a clean roll of bandages. Hei covered his wound and let out a sigh.

Yin poked his chest. "When will that heal?" She asked as her hand moved away from his chest. Hei looked down at when she had touched him, above his heart.

"It is getting better…" He admitted and turned his head. Yin then wrapped her arms around him and put her ear over his chest to listen to his heartbeat. She closed her eyes and never wanted to forget this sound.

I just wanna be with you tonight,
I just wanna be the one to shine
I just wanna be with you tonight in your arms,
oh can you hold me tight?

Yin reached out to grab his shirt. Hei rolled over to face her. He put his arms around her and she did the same. Yin lifted her head and nuzzled into his neck. She held onto him as tightly as her small hands could manage. She held on to him as if he was going to float away.

Hei kissed the top of her head and felt her arms tighten around him. He knew why she did it, that she was still a bit insecure about being alone. He held her close as well and was happy for this small reprieve. He wanted these small moments to last longer but for now it was not possible.

Every time I close my eyes I see,
(in order to softly wrap up)
you reflecting through my memory
(this fleeting time I'm with you)
I just wanna be with you tonight in your arms,
(burning that time that made me smile)
oh can you hold me tight?
(onto my heart)

Hei looked down at the velvet sheets of bed of abandoned love hotel. He closed his eyes and went into sleep unwillingly. He saw Yin's crying as he couldn't reach her. Dreaming over and over of how he couldn't save her, how he couldn't get her back. That wasn't his only torture though. He dreamed of the peaceful times, of star gazing and embraces. Sometimes those dreams of better times made him feel alright.

I'm thinking of you who I miss, and yet I can't put it into words
It's heart-breakingly painful but I want to be close to you, still want you by my side

Waking up alone, with his bottle was even worse than the dreaming. Sometimes when he was still bleary eyed and still half in his dreams he saw Yin sleeping beside him. But then reality sank in and Yin vanished. That hurt so much more than the dreams. Hei rose quietly and took a drink from his bottle. It made him feel better, but for long. He pulled open the curtains. "Get up Suoh." He said coldly to the young contractor.

AN: I had this finished before Moonlight Guidepost so I'm not stopping that one. I'll be finishig that this Sunday hopefully!
