It was cold and deep... Where was he? It felt just like the bottom of an ocean.

Aoyama Masaya opened his eyes... Right. This was h i s mind. Not his own. But Deep Blue's.

In some way Masaya always knew that there was someone... someone else... inside of him.

Someone older... stronger.

Especially as a child, he had felt the presence clearly. Back then it had not been negative.

But now... Aoyama didn't see it. But he knew that out there... people were suffering. Crying. He could almost feel the buildings falling apart. It hurt.

But then again everything did hurt in this blue world of the other's mind.

It was not that it was uncomfortable. Actually it was calming. But at the same time it felt like drowning.

This was the truth. This was Deep Blue.

Aoyama was afraid. How could something that had always lived within him be so destructive?

He had to find a way to make it stop.

Slowly Masaya moved forward, exploring Deep Blue's soul.

It felt like he had been exploring for hours. But Deep Blue's mind was overwhelming so it didn't matter.

It felt like he had been exploring for hours as he found a place diffrent from the rest.

It was like a defense-wall. Lightnings seemed to pierce strow Aoyama's mind as he tried to enter.

He was in pain.

This was all of Deep Blue's hatred, concentrated around one place.

Masaya kept struggling and struggling. He had to get past this wall, he somehow knew, or else the world would be destroyed.

Memories came coming and going, memories that belonged to Deep Blue. But before he could understand any of them, they already vanished.

It took him a long time. But Aoyama was not giving up. As much as it did hurt, he had to save Ichigo and the world. No matter what.

And then suddenly he broke through.

The place he was at was more calming than any place he had been at before.

And in the middle a pale-blue-light was floating.

Aoyama could feel it. This was... the real Deep Blue.

Unsure. Fragile. Soft. Confused. Afraid.

For the first time Masaya felt pity.

The atmosphere almost brought tears in his eyes.

He was reminded of his old self, before he met Ichigo.

Aoyama Masaya smiled and moved towards the light.

He knew what he was going to do. He had to save Deep Blue, just like Deep Blue had once saved him. His arms wide open Masaya leaned forwards and embraced the glowing soul.

Deep Blue twitched. The warm and soothing feeling in his chest just wouldn't leave.

He didn't want to feel it. It hurt. But in a ... positive way.

It scared Deep Blue.

That boy... what was he doing in there? Deep Blue should've known he was dangerous. The way Masaya's eyes looked should've given him a hint.

Aoyama Masaya was better than other humans. Deep Blue couldn't deny it.

Masaya... Best of his host bodies... the one who had seemed to understand.

Deep Blue had to earase him.

He had to kill him.

Only that way he would get rid of that warm emotion. Only that way... Only that way...

Masaya knew he had to kill Deep Blue.

That was the way to save him. He had to kill him.

And if that meaned killing himself, he was fine with it.

For the sake of protecting Ichigo and the earth, he'd die.

He would die together with Deep Blue.

It was alright.

They wouldn't be lonely anymore.
