I know Jay might seem a little OOC in this oneshot. I have to thank a friend of mine who doesn't have a fanfiction account and hasn't made a guest review yet.

Jay POV

I was sitting at one of the desks in the library looking at the date on my phone. Callan had said that she had never had a valentines date. I wanted to do something special for her since this was going to be her first. I groaned out and got up from my spot and went to talk to Evie about my situation. I knocked on Evie's door and waited for her to open it.

"Just wait one moment Doug." I heard her call from the other side.

"I'm not your lover boy." I said opening her door while shielding my eyes.

"Oh hey Jay what do you need?" She asked brushing her hair.

"I'm planning on taking Callan out tonight but other than that I don't have a clue on what else I should do." I said rubbing the back of my head with my hand.

"Well you could always write her a poem and give her her favorite flowers. That's what Doug did last year." She said putting on lipstick.

"Alright. Uh thanks and can we not tell anyone about this?" I asked walking towards the door.

"Yeah sure. Oh if you see Doug tell him I'm ready for our date tonight." She said before I closed the door.

I had walked back to my room and got to work writing the poem for her. I felt kinda sappy when I walked into town to buy Callan a few flowers. I asked the girl in the shop what the best flower to buy a girl if she loved the outdoors. She told me that Lily's or wild flowers was my best bet. I felt even sappier when I walked back to school holding the flowers. I wanted to given them to her in person but Lonnie had answered her door and said that Callan was with her cousin Hunter. I sighed and gave Lonnie the flowers and told her that when Callan came back have her read the poem and come find me.

Callan POV

I threw my jacket onto the bed and flopped down on it. I was about to close my eyes but the smell of flowers hit my nose. I turned my head and looked over at the wild flowers in a floral vase. I sat up and pulled out a piece of card stock with writing on it. I started to read it out loud after I made sure Lonnie wasn't in the room.

"The day I first saw you my heart never forgot no matter what anyone thought. Time freezes over when I am with you. Please be my Valentine."

"Aww how sweet." I jumped up when I heard a sarcastic voice from behind me.

I turned and saw Audrey. I groaned lowly wishing I had closed the door.

"Did your cousin write you that. I know that most Irish kings and queens marry their cousins." She said sweetly.

"Go fuck an arrow head." I said slamming the door in her face.

I huffed out and went looking through my clothes so I could change and go find Jay. I opened the door but before I left I put the card in my pocket. When I got to Jay's door I felt a little nervous. I bit my lip before knocking on the door. He opened the door in a pair of black jeans and no shirt. I felt my face get hot.

"So um thank you for the flowers." I said quietly trying to fight the urge to run away.

"Not a problem. You read the card yet?" He asked letting me into the room.

"Um yeah and um I'll be your Valentine.." I said not finishing my sentence because he had me pined to the wall so he could kiss me.

"You have anything else to say to me?" He asked with a smirk.

" Um yeah. Every time we touch I get this feeling, every time we kiss I swear I could fly. Can't you feel my heart beat fast." I said gulping at the end.

He just smirked at me and kissed me again.
