A star in the night guided her wish, and an imagination filled to the brim fueled it. As a tiny child sat beside her window, wishing and hoping, a magic within began it work. So, why she decided on a creature like him, it was what she was getting. She sat by the window, staring into the night sky. Things weren't going too well at school, and people treated her like an outcast. She figured it was just playing around, until they attacked her interests, like the backpack with a princess on it she had from last year. Why didn't you get a new bag? Why is it so pink? That's stupid! Don't be a baby! This little girl was only six years-old, but the words stung. Having to deal with her dad leaving, and her mom's short-lived depression, she was losing the hope of happiness finding her. She decided, finally, to try something her friend Delilah had told her about. - "I dunno. I jus' thought about it an' he showed up!" Said a little girl with braided hair on the playground. She held the hand of a tall monster, covered in purple fur and having only a single eye visible on his face. Vivianna had to look up to see him, "So can everyone do that? Jus' think 'a somethin' and make it real?" She asked, and grinned as the monster shook side-to-side to indicate happiness. The girl with the braid shrugged, "I dunno. Maybe. I jus' know that my mommy wants me to take Mr Nufflefluff to that Imaginary Friend home 'cross town. She says I can visit him all the time, though!" - With the thought implanted in her head, she planned to use it when things got bad. And, what was worse than having no friends?
