This was floating around in my mind, so I decided to write it as a poem. It's about Cloud and Aerith, and how their relationship would be if they were just normal teens, and what would their thoughts be when a special someone was gone, and Cloud waited until his time came.

Even if it was a cup of tea.
How'd she enjoy the evening breeze,
Even if it was by the sea.
How'd she enjoy morning walks,
With you by her side,
How'd she make you laugh,
Even though it hides.

You knew how to make it,
So she wouldn't cry.
Just to hug her closely,
And perhaps a lullaby.
You'd give her a flower,
Even on rainy days.
She'd be overwhelmed with joy.
And you two would talk all day.

Even if it was a cup of tea.
How'd she enjoy the evening breeze,
Even if it was by the sea.
How'd she enjoy the morning walks,
With you by her side,
She'd never forget the moments that she spent with you each night.
How you two would act like children,
And fight and make up by day.
She never threw a hissy fit and teased you in her way.

And whisper to her all the nice things,
It was worth the while.
You knew how she liked it,
How you'd hug her so tight.
It made her think you'd never leave,
You'd stay past Christmas Night.
You'd open up gifts and give them to her.
My, how her smile lit up your world.
You just thought and wondered how this could ever change,
Until one day she broke free and flown away.

For her to sail away.
She knew how much it meant for you,
That she'd be there to stay.
She's always with you,
And she's never going away.
She'll hug you forever, until you walk away.
She'll still love you forever,
Even if you'd move on.
She'll be glad to be with you,
When your time has come.
