Looking

Soubi is finally seeing Kio for the person he could have been his lover. Only now it's too late as he holds Kio in his arms while he takes his last breath.

Summary: Soubi finally sees Kio for what he could have been.

Looking:

He's always trying to see him; trying to please him.

He says he knows better than to love another.

Yet I always see him looking at others.

Now as I lay here taking my last breath, I see him and he's only looking at
me.

I smile and I hear him try to call out to me.

He chokes back a sob and tries to ask me to stay.

I hardly feel his hand try to hold my wound closed.

I barely see his tears or hear his pleas for me to stay.

-

I only see him looking at me.

Then I see no more.
