The third day of NaLu week has started! I'm back with the third prompt, Fairy Tale. Everyone always wished to have their own Fairy Tale life in which their prince will come and rescue them from danger and fall head over heels in love with them. But this is not a typical Fairy Tale. This is the Fairy Tale of Natsu and Lucy. Enjoy reading!

According to Lu-chan, her life before she entered Fairy Tail was a lonely life filled with rich parties, studies and suitors. It was so boring and plain. Most girls envy the type of life she has, but she on the other hand, envy the life that those girls have. They were not bothered by suitors. They didn't have to be taught the ways to eat properly and the type of cutlery to use for each type of food. They don't have to be squeezed into too tight corsets that allow you little to no space to breathe. They don't have to study about boring things on how to manage a company. They don't have to attend parties and smile in front of people who only talk to you because you're rich. Her fake smile is so perfect now thanks to the many practices she got from attending to those parties. What she wants her life to be is to be filled with adventures. She wants her life to be free and not restricted by parties, studies and tight corsets. She wishes to make friends with everyone instead of mingling with people who has the same status as her. She decided to run away from this boring and suffocating life of hers. She decided that if she wants to have a life filled with colors, friends, warmth and dreams she must take the first step. Thus, she ran. She ran away from home so that she can have the life she has always wanted. Then she met Natsu Dragneel, Fairy Tail's resident fire dragon slayer. It was from that point on that her life became her fairy tale. In fairy tales, there's always a princess and a prince that falls in love with one another. There's also a dragon that will come and snatch the princess away from the prince. The prince will then fight the dragon to rescue the princess and the both if them will have a happily ever after. That is how a typical fairy tale ends. However, this is not a typical fairy tale. This is a uniquely twisted fairy tale where the prince is the bad guy and the dragon is the good guy. In this fairy tale, the princess is rescued by the dragon and they fall in love. In this fairy tale, the dragon does not allow his princess to get hurt and protects her with all his might. In this fairy tale, the princess chooses the dragon instead of the prince. This is the never ending fairy tale of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia, soon to be Lucy Dragneel. This is the story of the loving and strong fire dragon falling in love with the beautiful blond princess. This dragon will always protect his princess from her 'princes' or suitors. This dragon will always make sure that his princess smiles and stay happy. This is what Lu-chan told me the day before her marriage and I agree. As everyone in the guild stood in the cathedral watching the princess and the dragon, they couldn't help but think that this fairy tale is a wonderful fairy tale. Because this is the never ending fairy tale of Natsu and Lucy dragneel.
