One day, the assassin came across a huge sign, on it sprawled the words: "Tobis and Steelies 1 mil each! Come to Free Market 20 at Channel 4 now!" Her blood boiled at the words 'Steelies'. Steelies are among the most powerful throwing stars made in the entire Maple world. Usually, they costed more than 8 million each! She looked in her money pouch. She had enough for two whole sets of it! Casting haste on herself, she dashed towards the free market, determined to get there before others do. There, she found a little store open, with more than two hundred people swarming to get a look at the objects. Since there were only three people allowed in the store at one time, she thought for a minute, and decided she would do anything for the steelies.
A few days ago, she came across a rogue, whose name she recognized as one of the people who never missed during party quests. She asked him our of curiosity, how could he have never missed even once. He smiled at her mysteriously, and stuffed something into her hand before dissapearing into the shadows. It was a slip of paper, with some instructions scribbled on it. She scanned the words, realizing that this was the steps to operating what her friends called 'AC'. It was the short term for Auto Clicker, a skill that the Game Masters warned were forbidden. It was very efficient in getting into party quests, as it could click as much as 9 million clicks per second. She knew she wasn't supposed to use it, but she decided to give it a try, in order to get the throwing stars she longed for so long.
She didn't have to wait a long time. One of the people still in the shop exited it, making space for her to get a glimpse of the 'steelies' and 'tobis'. She was so concentrated on the items that she forgot to turn off her Auto Clicker. After a few seconds, she realized that her wallet was considerably lighter, and stared at the items that suddenly appeared in her hands. She couldn't believe her eyes. In her hands laid two tiny bottles of red liquid, the basic potion for beginners. She looked back at the shop, and finally remembered to turn off her AC. After a few minutes in daze, she finally realized what happened. She was scammed! The shop owner put an item of the lowest value as 1 million each, while telling others that they were steelies. People would then start rushing into the shop either clicking nonstop or using AC like she was. The shop owner used her anxiety for good throwing stars so that he could gain riches for himself.
Furious, she smashed the two bottles onto the ground, the red liquid seeping into the earth. She learned a lesson. Always be calm and figure everything out before making any decisions. She cursed the shop owner in her mind, and logged off.
