Rapunzel and the Beasts of the two Kingdoms
Author's Note: Something I came up with for the Beauty and the Beast Au for the numerous extended universes for Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons enjoy.

Summary:Rapunzel is the village bookworm who wanted nothing more than to see different sights and meet new people Flynn is a prince doomed to be a beast forever unless he could find someone to love and love him in return, when these two cross paths, they have to learn to trust and respect each other but no one expected the two to fall in love, for who could ever love a Beast. However Hans former Prince of Arendelle turned Beast has plans of his own for her now Rapunzel would be forced to make a choice between the two.
Once upon time in a faraway kingdom a handsome young prince lived in a majestic castle.
Although he had everything he ever wanted…the prince was selfish and unkind.
He taxed the village and the allied kingdoms to fill his castle with the most expensive and beautiful objects. Then one stormy night an unexpected visitor arrived at the castle seeking shelter from the the bitter storm.
As a gift, she offered the prince a single rose. Repulsed by her haggard appearance… the prince turned the woman away.
But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances. For beauty is found within.
When he dismissed her second time, the old woman's outward appearance melted away. To reveal a beautiful Enchantress.
The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late. For she had seen that there was no love in his heart.
As punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast. And placed a powerful spell on the castle and all who lived there. As days bled into years… the prince and his servants were forgotten by the world. For the Enchantress had erased all memory of them from the people they loved. Leaving the prince with nothing but a magic mirror as their only window to the outside world and a book to travel around the world.
However the rose she offered was truly an enchanted rose. If he could learn to love another and earn their love in return by the time the last petal fell the spell would be broken. If not then he would be doomed to remain a Beast for all time. As the years passed he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever love a Beast.
Eugene's POV
Eugene stood in his room staring out to the horizon through his window, for he's been cooped in the castle for who knows how long. And while the book he was given actually allowed him to travel, he didn't dare to lay his paws on it. At that exact moment he heard his door creaked open revealing to be Lance.
"Hello master" the object greeted with a bow.
"Why are you here Lance? Can't you see I want to be alone" Beast told the servant turned candelabra.
"A thousand pardons, master, but you're birthday is today and the others are wondering if you intend on celebrating it" the said candelabra replied.
At the mention of his birthday, Eugene's expression changed to one of anger and rage for that was the day the Enchantress came and turned him into this creature… this beast!
"My birthday is not something I want to celebrate right now or ever, so whatever plans you and the others have for it cancel them along with all future plans" the master of the castle ordered coldly.
"But master we've been planning this for years now, the chef even baked a cake" Lance spoke.
"I DON'T CARE CANCEL EVERYTHING RELATING TO MY BIRTHDAY NOW! AND LEAVE ME TO MY SUFFERING!" Eugene roared as he faced his friend.
"As you wish master" Strongbow bowed before closing the door and hoping off to the other servants, while the Beast returned his attention towards the rose and the window only to come face to face with the last person he expected to see.
"I expected better from you Eugene " a familiar voice spoke as Mother Gothel the Enchantress appeared to him.
"GET OUT!" He shouted as he tried to attack the black haired woman with his claws, only for him to miss and her vanish while he constantly search for her.
"Eugene please, I didn't come here for a fight" Gothel tried to reason with the enraged Beast.
"HAVE YOU COME TO MAKE MY LIFE EVEN MORE MISERABLE!?" The Beast yelled.
"No I'm just stopping by to see how you're doing" the woman said as she appeared before him again.
"You turned me into a monster, how do you think I'm doing!?" He said.
"You brought this on yourself, and if you want to get back to normal, you need to find someone to love you and earn their love in return who would that person be, I cannot say, you'll have to figure that out yourself, but first you must find love within you, and once you do that the rest would follow. Now I used this spell on numerous royals throughout the year and in the past, last person was a prince much like you from Arendelle and it didn't end well for him, so I hope you'll do better than that person or you'll end up sharing his fate" the enchantress replied.
"But why? Out of all the royals thoughout the world why did you come to me?" Eugene asked.
"You'll figure it out soon enough" Gothel told him with a smile before disappearing.
Once the Enchantress disappeared Eugene growled, then looked at his self portrait before clawing at it yet again and did the same to his family portrait that showed him and his and his mother but left his father's untouched.
"I won't be able to find someone to love me, it's impossible" he said.
