Yes this is my second time revising this and the third time writing it. I just saw 'The Crusaders of the Lost Mark' and had to re-write this. Again. Don't hate me 'cause I'm a perfectionest. Oh, one more thing. This takes place about three months before the episode.
Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo went outside to play. They immediately went to the swings. Then Sweetie Belle looked at Button Mash, and she saw no pony with him. He was just playing with his toy train, making it go back and forth over and over.
"Choo choo!" he yelled as he let it slid on.
Sweetie turned to Apple Bloom. "Hey, you wanna go and play with Button?"l
"Huh?" Apple Bloom asked "Button? Why in world? I don't mean I'm against the idea, I just wanna know."
"Oh." Sweetie said "He just has no pony playing with him. I thought he could use some company. You know."
Scootaloo turned to them. "Yeah, and he doesn't have a cutie mark. He could join the Crusaders."
"That's a very reason good, Scoots." Apple Bloom said, then jumping off her swing.
"I'm coming too!" Scootaloo yelled and followed Apple Bloom
"Wait up girls!" Sweetie followed them
The three of them trotted over to Button. He was trying to get his train out of a bush.
"Gwah!" he yelled as he saw light green bits of magic surrounding his train.
The green magic gently undid the vines that had trapped his train. Once it was done it handed it to him.
"Wha?" Button said "Who did this?"
"I did silly." Sweetie Belle's voice brushed against Button's ears.
"Sweetie Belle?" Button asked, looking around for the white unicorn.
His eyes finally laid upon the unicorn, along with her friends.
"Hey, Button. How ya fairing'?" Apple Bloom asked
"Yeah, how ya been?" Scootaloo asked
"Oh. Uh. I've been er... playing video games mostly." Button said
"Video games? Like Neigh of Duty? Mareio? Legend of Marlda?" Scootaloo asked.
Button nodded, then blushed and looked at Sweetie Belle. "Sorry, where are my manners. Thanks, Sweetie Belle."
Belle nodded politely. "Welcome. My pleasure."
"Hey..." Apple Bloom said "You don't have your cutie mark yet."
Button rolled his eyes. "I know, I know. Did Diamond Tiara send you over here to bully me 'bout it?"
Sweetie's brow furrowed. "Of course not. We always get bullied by those two. We wanted to know if you wanted to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders."
"Yeah!" Apple added "So do ya? Do ya?!" she said as she bounced up and down
Button's ears were flat against his head. "Oh... Erm... I'm not really sure..." he muttered
"Oh come on! It'll be super fun!" Scootaloo said, beginning to list things off her hoof. "Going on adventures, looking for your special talent..."
"Yeah!" Sweetie Belle backed her friend up. "We could have lots and lots of fun!
Button thought about it and then looked at Sweetie Belle.
"Count me in."
Sorry for being gone for so long but I have to do school. And I'm in the middle of revising Luna and Sombra. And BTW if you didn't get the pony puns then here they are.
