Hoover Dam, Mojave Wasteland 2281

It was done. The battle for the Mojave was over, and Arcade was horrified when he heard the news "Lanius won…" he slowly said, "The legion won… this can't be".

As soon as the news made their way over to the Mojave all hell broke loose, people where fleeing Freeside and New Vegas to hide from the legion, West Side didn't look much better, and with no House, the securitrons where basically useless.

The followers tried their best to help those poor people… then men in crimson armor showed up at the old Mormon fort, and they were all out for blood.

It was a complete slaughter, and the worst part? Arcade fled, like a coward, he just used a stealth boy and escaped, letting all of his friends die, innocents slaughtered, but in the midst of the fighting, Arcade saw the mask of an NCR veteran ranger on one of the legionaries, the one who seemed to be leading them "…No way…"

The courier was the one leading the slaughter, he was the one who let the legion win.

That didn't make Arcade want to stay and fight but… he had an idea.

As the stealth boy started wearing off, he went to his own tent, and took a box from under the bed, it had some weapons in it, not many, his plasma defender, a few plasma grenades and mines, so he decided to make a trap for them.

He carefully placed mines all over the tent, making it so that if one of the legionaries triggered one, they would all explode, leaving nothing behind. Then he turned his radio on

"Play the guitar… play it again… my Johnny"

As the music started, Arcade booked it out of the tent, careful not to attract the attention of the legionaries, and out of the Mormon fort, and just as he reached the entrance to Freeside, his Stealth Boy ran out, but he couldn't stop now, so he ran, and then

BOOM

Legionary screams filled Freeside, his trap worked, he was sure he didn't take them all out, but for now he was satisfied to have at least killed one.

Arcade exited Freeside and just ran, he didn't know where he was headed really, so he just went north, looking any non-legion town, or maybe even a cave, anything really, he just needed to be safe from the now extremely pissed legionaries, in his hopeless run, he just hoped the courier died in that explosion, seemed fair for someone who just doomed all of the Mojave.
