Frankie's story
I miss my friends, my school and shockingly enough even the m&m's and Sara and Alana! I know! This is how much I miss Australia, I moved to England 2 years ago because my dad had got a huge job promotion. We tried everything, protesting, phoning the company, and even trying to run away! We tried everything but it all just seemed to be useless, soon after we gave up and had our last sleepover. I cried a river when we were leaving, Australia was my home but not anymore...
1 month later
January 3rd.
My dad came back from work and was technically crying and I don't know why. "We're going back, I don't have my job anymore, and we're going back to crescent bay, where we used to live." I was confused and happy but I had no idea why he was saying this. Then I found out that he lost his job. I felt sorry for him, everything would have been just fine if we stayed at crescent bay, and he wouldn't have lost any job at all. "What? Really? But how did you lose your job?" I asked, being curious. I wanted to know how and why he lost his job. "I can't handle this anymore. Frankie, they are way too strict, if you don't get to office in time for one day they will fire you there and then." My dad replied, glumly. Then my mum came back from her shop, oblivious to what we were talking about. Even my mum hated England, she was hoping she could at least go and visit Australia. I could tell she was happy when he explained what had happened.
"Flight to Australia please go to gate 32." Our flight started minutes later and we arrived at about 9:00 AM. It all just seemed to be a dream going to England and coming back home. The sun was shining brightly, how much I missed the warmth, I thought. It's 7pm now it must be Kenny's turn for the sleepover, I'll surprise them, I thought.
I knocked on the door and Fliss,Kenny,Lyndz and Rose opened the door and all screamed, unexpectedly. Then once they asked me about everything, they glared behind me as if there was a ghost or something. I was confused and looked behind me and found out why they looked so shocked...
