Author's note... Hey kids! this is an oldie... Or- well, it's an oldie where I come from.

"You worry too much, Sam."
The boy sighed indignantly, tracing a finger along the dash. "Yeah..."
Bumblebee stayed in silence, waiting for Sam to say something. When his human didn't adequately respond, the Autobot started searching the radio.
"I dunno Bee, it's just that-"
"Listen baby,"
"Bee-"
"If you need me, call me- no matter where you are, no matter how far- don't worry baby! Just call out my name, I'll be there in a hurry, you don't need to worry-"
"Bee!"
"'Cause baby there-"
Sam sighed, pushing his back to the seat and crossing his arms.
"-ain't no mountain high enough! Ain't no valley low enough! Ain't no river wide enough, to keep me from getting' to you babe!"
"Bee, stop."
The radio switched off to a dull static.
Sam sighed. "Thanks-"
"Earth Angel, Earth Angel, will you be mine? My darling dear, love you all the time-"
Sam blanched.
"I'm just a fool… a fool in love with you."
"You're such a sappy robot." Sam stated in defiance.
In response, the radio skipped to yet another song. "Kiss me, Kiss me out of the bearded barley- Nightly, beside the green, green grass. Swing, swing- swing the spinning step. You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress..."
Sam covered his face with his palm, pushing himself even further into the depths of his seat. Bumblebee shifted and sped up, winding with the road in a sweet rhythm.
"Oh, kiss me! Beneath the milky twilight- lead me! Out on the moonlit floor, lift your open hand, strike up the band and make the fireflies dance- silver moon's sparkling...
So kiss me."
Sam stared out the window, listening to the song and- though he wouldn't admit it- calming with the lyrics. The rhythm beat in time to Bumblebee's swerving on the twisted road and the song continued-
"Kiss me- down by the broken tree house. Swing me, up on it's hanging tire. Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat- we'll take the trail marked on your father's map, Oh- kiss me!
Beneath the milky twilight- lead me! Out on the moonlit floor, lift your open hand- strike up the band and make the fireflies dance, silver moon's sparkling...
So kiss me.
Kiss me..."
He let the lyrics drift off as the song ended, waiting for the car to silence as first static flooded and then washed out...
"Thanks, Bee."
A long moment of silence passed, before- "Elementary, my dear Watson."
Sam smiled. "No, I mean it."
The radio shut off, and the car fell silent. "You're welcome, Sam."
The pair rode in silence for a long while, simply enjoying the ride. As Bumblebee turned a sharp corner, and a few seconds later the station changed, then resonated with a loud "Don't you, forget about me!"
Sam smirked. "Bee, I know it hurts, but you're just going to have to accept the fact that The Breakfast Club ended years ago."
All that came in reply was a volume rush from the radio. "Don't you try to pretend- Its my feeling we'll win in the end- don't you forget about me! I'll be alone, dancing, you know it baby! Going to take you apart- I'll put us back, together at heart- baby!"
