Xion was sitting alone at the clocktower. She was almost finished with her ice-cream and neither Roxas nor Axel had shown up yet. It wasn't too unusual—they often missed each other with their missions taking a long time. It had been a while since either of them had joined her on a mission.

She had finished her ice-cream by the time Roxas showed up. He was somewhat red in the face and held one hand behind his back as though he was hiding something and Xion peered curiously at him. She didn't ask about it though. "Hey, Roxas," she greeted instead. "I was just about to leave before you came."

"Yeah, sorry, my mission took a while. It was recon in a new world…" He smiled awkwardly. "I—uhm… I got you something from there."

"Oh? Is it a seashell?" Ever since Xion had started to collect seashells every now and then Roxas or Axel would gift her with seashells that they had picked up on missions, but something told her that it wasn't that this time.

Roxas shook his head and confirmed it. Before Xion could ask again he suddenly thrust forward a small bouquet of purple flowers, much to Xion's surprise.

Roxas' face was even redder now. "They're called shion-flowers," he explained before she could say anything. "A lady I met told me. She also said they mean 'I won't forget you' so I thought… it was fitting."

Xion felt a strange warmth spread inside of her and she could only smile as she accepted the flowers. "Thank you, Roxas." And before she could stop the impulse she had leaned forward and kissed Roxas on the cheek. "I won't forget you either."
