summary; broken and miserable about his new wife's recent death, Inuyasha Tai; owner of Heav'n Hotel, plans to sell the hardworking business that seems to attract no customers. An alchoholic, a smoker and an anti-social man crosses paths with Kagome. A young, beautiful woman who had just been fired from her job. She ends up staying at Heav'n's Hotel with her six year old son, Shippo. As Inuyasha and Kagome cross paths.. what's bound to happen?

It was just three slow minutes to midnight. A joyous giggle escaped through glad murmurs across the crowded room. Golden eyes looked down tenderly at bright, chocolate brown. Their friends crowded around them as the silver-haired man slipped a beautiful diamond ring on the woman's dainty finger. The stared into each other's eyes deeply only to have the woman throw her arms around the man's neck and kiss him deeply.
At first, they felt uneasy. Kikyo and Inuyasha, that is.. They didn't know if it was a right to elope. However, that moment alone washed the very thought from their minds.
Hurrying to their cute little car, Rin and Kohaku slipped in the backseat as Inuyasha jumped in the drivers, before Kikyo hopped into passanger. The deep smell of thick alchohol lingered in the car as they chatted happily. Inuyasha started the engine, the thought of drunk-driving not enough to make him actually care.
Kikyo stuck her head out the window as they speeded down the road, holding out her arms, she gave an energetic yell.
"I AM MRS. INUYASHA TAI!" she screamed to a van they sped past. Ducking back into the car, she practically seated herself upon Inuyasha's lap, blocking his view of the road; not that he was sober enough to care.
And with the fatal turn of the steering wheel, Inuyasha swereved across into the wrong lane, where they collided with another truck that had steel poles tied to the roof.
Piercing screams of fear and pain filled the car as Rin and Kohaku whipped their necks, breaking them instantly.
The steel poles quickly slid off of the roof of the truck, and if Kikyo had been sitting on her seat, rather than Inuyasha's lap... IT wouldn't have happened.
With a sickning sound and the splash of fresh blood, the poles collided with Kikyo's back, inserting and successfully cracking her spin in two. Ragged breathing flew the stench of alchohol right up into Inuyasha's nostrils, until the breathing ceased all-together.
Inuyasha's eyes could hardly stay open., but using the rest of his strength to open the door and tumble out of the car, he slipped off the edge of a very small cliff and rolled into the pond nearby Heav'n Hotel..
He let out a wail of agony ..
and fainted on the bank of the beach.
as the waves covered him like a blanket...
At 10:30
He asked for Kikyo's hand in marriage.
at 11:47
He kissed his new wife.
And at 12:32
He became her widower.

Eris; To be honest, this fic is a remake of a Filipino movie I had watched, starring Regine Velasquez and Piolo (i dont know his last name)
It reminded me SO SO SO much of Inuyasha and was SO GOOD, I had to spread the news since not many people watch Filipino movies.
