Okay, so I was catching up with some old burn notice episodes and I just despised the entire concept of there being an ex fiancée in season 1. Hehe,I am a Michael and Fiona fan...so i decided to write a little twist for the scene where Samantha kisses Michael goodbye.

Anyway, this is my last fanfic because I will be having my IGCSE's soon and wont be able to write until june. I truly appreciate those who often read my fanfics. I hope you all enjoy this one! lots of love! And wish me luck!

PS; don't forget to tell me what you think! Michael and Fiona forever!

Samantha leaned forward to press her lips against Michael's, a soft, gentle
brushing of the lips and then she pulled away. Her arms were wrapped around
Michael's neck. They smiled at one another.

"You know Michael...things could have worked out between us." she said.
Michael grinned.
"If it wasn't for her..." she finished off.
Michael raised his brows and looked wide-eyed at Samantha.

He was flabbergasted that even after all these years she still blamed Fiona for
their breakup.

Michael immediately pulled away from her embrace, and shook his head,
"Don't start this again Samantha." he warned.

"What Michael? I have the entire right to question you! You left me without reasoning. And you can't deny that she was responsible for it.I remember everything perfectly...you could never stop thinking about that woman ever since that fucking opp in Ireland!"

Michael was speechless. She was right...every word.

"Sam..." Michael began, but she cut him off.

"What did she have that I didn't Michael? What did she do that made you forget
about what we had?!" She demanded.

"Samantha, that was the past. And I really am sorry if I hurt you,I should have
reasoned my decision of leaving instead of just running way ,but..."

And she cut him off again,

"I've seen the way you look at her Michael." her voice was now low and mysterious.
"You still love her,don't you?"
Her eyes narrowed on him as if to probe for the truth of his feelings.

Michael sighed and ran his hand over his hair. This was no easy situation.

"But it's too bad she's not yours." She hissed.
"Fiona said so herself...that you and her,you aren't..."

"We aren't together." Michael finished.

She half laughed, almost enjoying the fact that Micheal's decision of 'Fiona over
Samantha', didn't prove fruitful. He eventually lost both women.

"Well...that's a shame. Regret isn't an easy feeling." She said, tauntingly.

"You're wrong Samantha!" Michael said almost too quickly.

"I never regretted my decision of not marrying you and I
think your'e right about me owing you the reasoning for it."

"Than talk." She crossed her arms.
Michael took a deep breath and began,

"Being with you Sam...every thing was so easy.
You never had a problem with what I did, the games I played or that my job was
lying to people. Things moved fast and everything was always so smooth, And
just the was I would want them to be." he gulped.
"But with Fiona...It was the opposite. She was unlike anyone I've ever been
with.I loved how she bossed me around and organised my life.

With her,I felt
no more a spy who lies, betrays, uses and takes advantage of others... because she knew
a part of me no one did." He explained.

That's when I realized...you and I, and he waved his had dismissively between
the two of them,
what we had was never love."
"I'm sorry for hurting you.
But Sam,you just don't marry someone...when your'e in love with someone
else.
And I was in love with Fiona." He said finally.

And with tears rolling down her cheeks, and with the hatred and sorrow in her
eyes,she finally said,
"Goodbye Michael."
