They share love only for their King. Each feeling the other is dragging them down, always trying to take him away. This two-shot has two song inspired monologues of their feelings, one for each spirit towards their king and their resolve not to fall to the other.

We are after all apart of the same soul.
You're always dragging me down.

My name is searching.
You stole my only soul.
Don't say you know, because you don't.

You are done wearing me out.
Wearing him out.
I won't let you take him.

Cold blooded fate.
Cruelly tearing us apart.
Selfish.

I won't let you have him.
I won't let him leave me.
Not now, not ever again.

My name is empty.
You are nothing to me.
Nothing but ancient history to him.

I will not just fade away.
I will not let him ago.
I will shut the world out.

Deeper and deeper.
Till nothing exists but me and him.
I will not bow to you.

I will not fall.
I will not let him fall.
I won't let you have him.

My name is screaming.
I won't let you hurt him.
I'll devour him...before I let you hurt him again.

That is my truest instinct.
