It was the day after Chilloween. Nathan had found tons of fruit today already, so he was moping around on the beach.

"Why did Daley say all those things? I thought we weren't in competition anymore. I was such an idiot to think we could be more." He mumbled to himself.

Daley stood and watched him pace. Back and forth, back and forth… "Why did I say all those things?" She mumbled to herself. Nathan plopped down on the sand. Daley took a minute to summon up her courage, then went and sat down next to him.

Nathan glanced at her. "What do you want?" He asked.
"I want to say – I'm sorry." Nathan looked surprised. "I feel…exactly the opposite of all those things I said. I just…we couldn't…on the island…" she stammered.

"What?" Daley asked.
"That's exactly why I didn't want to tell you." He replied.
"Well, either way, we can't be together on this island. It'd be too-"

"Hold up a second!" Melissa's voice came from behind them.
"What's wrong with being together on the island?" Taylor's voice came next.
"You're leader – it's your decision." Jackson said.

Daley and Nathan turned around. Melissa, Taylor, and Jackson, along with Eric and Lex, were peering around trees.
"You guys were spying on us?" Nathan said.
"That's not the point. You two need to get together so that Nathan isn't spending his free time moping around on the beach." It was the nicest thing Eric had ever said.
"So?" Melissa and Taylor asked expectantly.
"I didn't picture it this way," Nathan said in Daley's direction but his voice suggested it was aimed to the others. "But will you be my girlfriend?"

Everyone else cheered.

A/N: I know, I practically only write Melissa Jackson, but I was so mad at Daley for not telling Nathan how she really felt! This show is turning on us. You think it's all dandy, then Jackson and Taylor start liking each other, Daley turns Nathan down, and Melissa and Eric have some sort of past. (The lizard and him having an iguana.) They're messing up the couples! What every will we do? I'll shut up for you now.
