Yes, I should be working on PClttU chapter 6.

Yes, this is a bit of an odd poem/story.

Yes, I do hope that you enjoy it.

No, I do not own Harry Potter.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

Which I took to be true

I believed most everything he said

Until it all fell through.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

And now it's clear to see

His problem was not with the dancing -

It was that he never fancied me.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

When I asked him once or twice

I took his lies and swallowed them

And never thought about them twice.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

And he meant what now I see

He meant he fancied dancing

But he couldn't dance with me.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

But as I watch this lovely scene

I see that he truly fancied dancing

Just not in the way I'd foreseen.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

Yet there he is onstage

Spiraling and twirling 'round with her -

I now must turn the page.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

And I suppose that it's just as well

For no matter what my efforts were

It was not for me he fell.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

A lie now for the world to see

For there he does a wedding waltz

With her - for eternity.

He said he didn't fancy dancing

And now it's over and done

For I have my own love to dance with me -

Soon comes the day I bear our son.
