Lucy walked into the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, and looked around, "Hey, Mira, where's Natsu?" She asked.
"He and Happy went on a mission, they said they'll be back soon, why?"
"Well Levi just told me she confessed to Gajeel, and she and I made a deal. If she confesses to Gajeel how she feels, I'd have to do it to Natsu. Except, he's so dense headed I don't think he'd understand." Lucy sighed.
"Well maybe he will understand, I mean everyone says he likes you." Mirajane said, smiling.
"Okay, thanks Mira." Lucy smiled back.
Lucy walked to a table and sat there, waiting for Natsu to come back. She really wanted to tell him how she felt, because she has liked him for the longest time. Ever since the events at Edolas, she has liked him a lot.
How will I take if he doesn't like me back? She thought. I haven't felt this way towards a guy before… Maybe I should try hinting towards it first…
She looked up, hearing the door open. Natsu burst in shouting, "We're back!" and Lucy couldn't help but smile at that.
He's so stupid and funny.. it makes him cute…
"Hey Natsu!" She called, smiling still. "C'mere!"
Natsu walked over, ready to tell Lucy about his day, "Hey Luce guess what!" He said, a goofy grin on his face.
"Lemme guess, your job was awesome and you burnt down a whole forest?" She teased him.
"Well I didn't burn down a forest."
"I know, silly." Lucy giggled.
"Okay. So what did you want?" He asked, staring at Lucy blankly.
Alright, guess I should tell him now? Maybe I should just keep hinting towards it for now…
"Well uh… I wanted to tell you something… But maybe it can wait…"
"Well what is it, Lucy?" He asked her.
Lucy looked up at him, her face red, "W-Well uh… uhm…" she looked at Mira for help, and all she did was shrug before going back to work. "I uh…"
"Well spit it out Lucy! I don't have all day!"
"I uuh… Itotallyhavelikedyouourentirefriendship." She said really fast.
"What was that?" Natsu asked, since he couldn't make out what she had said.
Lucy sighed, "Natsu… I like you… A lot…"
Natsu blinked, "Whaddya mean?"
Lucy laughed at his stupidity, "Nothing Natsu… Absolutely nothing… You'll learn as time passes…"
Secretly, though, Natsu knew exactly what Lucy meant, and liked her too, he just didn't know how to tell her… So he had decided to wait until a later day...
