Collide

The detectives of the Special Victims Unit are attending a dinner evening for the NYPD. Elliot, John, Fin, Cragan, Hunag, and Casey are all sitting around a table assigned for their unit. The evening as just started and last of the guests have just come. The Mater of Ceremonies comes on stage.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen of the NYPD, glad you can all join us this evening

to honour the men and women who put their lives at stake every day to make sure that our city is a better place."

"Before we start this evening we have a vary special lady who is going to start off this evening with her amazing voice. Not only does she have an amazing voice but is she an amazing cop, so I personally what to welcome her back so with out further a due I would like to welcome Detective. Olivia Benson of the Special Victims Unit."

Clapping was heard through out the room and as Olivia walked on to the stage and the detectives of the Special Victims Unit just started at the stage in shocked.

"Thank you so much Steve, it is really good to be back and I can not wait to get back to work. As Steve mentioned I am the opening act for this evening. The song I am going to sing is dedicated to someone really special to me. He has been their for me through think and thin through the bad times and the good times and I do not know what I would do with out him. He is not only my best friend but he is my partner. I just want to tell him that I missed him so much when I was gone and that I am sorry for how we left things, so for my best friend and partner this is for you."

Olivia looks straight ahead and looks right at Elliot and Elliot just sits shocked. The music starts to play and Olivia starts to sing.

At this point Olivia takes the mic out of its holder and starts to walk towards the table where Elliot is sitting with the rest of the group. I'm quiet, you know,

When she starts to sing the fifth stanza she is standing right in front of Elliot and singing to him.

As Olivia finishes off her song she turns off the mic and places it on the table and she raps her self in Elliot. Elliot just stands there with his hands around her and stroking her back as the whole room is giving Olivia a standing ovation. Elliot whispers in her ear,

"Liv, you were amazing."

Olivia just lift's her head off of Elliot's shoulder and just smiles at him.

They just sand there in each other's arms as everyone else is clapping and cheering for her.

"Liv, you look beautiful tonight, and I am so glad you are back."

"Me too El, me too."
