Getting Back To You
Sakura was wandering in the forest, her emotions leading the way to the one who left her for dead. No matter how much he broke her, she would always love him. The only light she had was the moon and stars that twinkled lightly in the distance.
I'm walking in the dark,
trying to find my way back into your arms
Sakura's head was racing with all the moments she'll always cherish in her heart. The memory of the last time she saw him flashed in her head causing pain she hides in tear trickle down her face.
I can't think of anything
but the memories we shared,
the laughs and the tears.
I don't want to lose those
precious times we had
Sakura sat on a tree trunk to pull herself together. When out of nowhere something caught her full attention.
and out of nowhere,
a voice so clear
"It can't be you, you've been away for so long." Sakura thought intensely. "It must be my imagination." She said under her breath.
It can't be, it is, it has to be you,
I turn and there you are
Sakura pinched herself to see if she was dreaming. No, this was reality. "He came back, he's finally back home!" Sakura thought tears of happiness running down her face.
I run to you,
and you welcome me back
with arms wide open
Sasuke stood there holding his beloved cherry blossom. He whispered," I never meant to hurt you Sakura, I promise you that. I'm here now to protect you." Sakura's sorrows lifted as he finished the last words.
And there in your arms,
the darkness fades.
