Switch meet Sphinx.

Switch sat on the wall of the church in Arkham City, staring at the sky.

"Mind if I join you?"

Switch turned to see a woman standing on the wall she was sitting on.

The woman had a white leather on, green tight trousers and a black belt. The trousers looked like they were made out of leather too. A pair of high black boots with gold embroidery in the back and a bit round the sides, came to about the woman's knees.

Switch noticed that on the woman's leather jacket was a pattern that looked like wings.

The woman also had an egyptian necklace on but it was the mask and the question mark on the belt buckle that gave away who this person was.

"I didn't know Strange had the mysterious Sphinx in Arkham City." said Switch standing up.

Sphinx smiled. "I heard all the excitement was in here, so I thought why not join in with the party?"

Switch stared at her. "I've just got one question to ask you."

Sphinx raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Now what would you want to ask me? Something about a fashion advice perhaps?"

Switch scowled. "Watch it! I don't care who you are! I'll still beat you up if you insult me!"

Sphinx laughed. She actually laughed at Switch's threat. "My… you're a tough one aren't you? Now…. as much as I can take beatings I'd rather not have one today. I had a rough little chat with Zsasz…. you can imagine how that went."

Switch shuddered at the thought of Zsasz. "Look. My question is….. out of all the insane criminals you could've fallen for….. why in the world did you fall for Nigma?!"

Sphinx smiled. "Why did I fall for a self obsessed little rat like Edward Nigma? Hmmm, good question. Strangely enough it's a question I'm still trying to answer myself."

Switch muttered under her breath. "I bet you are."

She looked up at Sphinx and frowned. "What are you doing here?"

Sphinx smiled. "I saw the lights," she said pointing up at the huge question mark on top of the church. "Thought the Riddler was in town and now that I've seen you here… I know I'm right."

Switch tilted her head to one side. She had the strangest feeling that Sphinx's head wasn't exactly in the right place.

To be honest, she thought that she was slightly more insane then Nigma.

"So, you want to see Riddler or what?" asked Switch.

Sphinx smiled. "No. I just like to tease him."

"With what?" asked Switch walking over to her.

Sphinx smiled. "With me. I know he likes me."

Switch smiled. "Yeah he does. Did you know he has a photograph of you on his desk?"

Sphinx laughed. "Oh my. He really is becoming obsessed with me isn't he?"

Switch felt her mouth twitch. "Yeah. Have you seen Jester?"

Sphinx turned to her and raised an eyebrow. "Now why would you be looking for her?"

"She got herself into some trouble and got badly beaten. She's just a kid, who would do that to a kid?" asked Switch.

Sphinx looked up at the sky and sighed. "Her sister. You're annoyed."

Switch blinked. "What?"

"You're annoyed at Jester. Be cause she won't tell you what happened to her. Don't worry. She'll come round eventually." Sphinx jumped off the wall to show off the back of her leather. It had a beautiful golden question mark on it, with the wings still going over the shoulders and an ank at the top above the question mark. "Just give the kid time Switch and she'll come round to you. Don't worry."

Switch heard a muttered curse from inside the church.

Nigma must of fallen again.

"Looks like you're needed inside." said Sphinx as she began to walk off. "It was a pleasure to meet you Switch."

Switch turned to see Sphinx had gone.

She raised an eyebrow at the odd scene but didn't ask any questions.

This was Arkham after all.

THE END.
