Trafalgar Law sat opposite Don Quixote Doflamingo at the dinner table- a rare occurrence as Doflamingo was not home often enough for them to use the dinner table.

"If you were to introduce yourself to someone who had never heard of you, how would you do it?" Law asked, seemingly out of the blue.

"Someone who had never heard of me, hmmm? How strange. Everyone's heard of me. I've never had to do such a thing." Doflamingo replied. He gave it some thought. "I might list all my…credentials."

"I see." Law said, not looking up from his plate.

"How would you describe me to someone who had never met me, Law?" Doflamingo asked, a smirk breaking out on his face. He was curious as to how his protégé saw him. Law had so many titles to choose from…so much to boast about.

"Don Quixote Doflamingo, the Heavenly Demon."

The smile disappeared from Doflamingo's face. He was hoping for something a little more detailed; a little more proud, a little more grand.

"Oh? You wouldn't tell them I was your Captain?"

Law did not respond.

"Your mentor?"

Nothing.

"Your father?"

Law's gaze met Doflamingo's but he remained silent.
