From Fairy To Fowl
What is it about you that sets you aside, Artemis Fowl?
What convinced you to try and ravage the secrets of our race?
You think you've got it sorted, wiser than any type of owl
But don't forget you're still a boy; it's evident by your face.
Fowl Manor: where you held me ransom in your large abode.
You intoxicated one of our own to learn out facts.
You sat before a computer, quickly smashing our code,
Cutting through our secrets like a sharp double-bladed axe.
You evaded our science without hassle, fighting fire with fire,
But kept your word and allowed me to go free with some of the gold.
I guess in the face of danger Artemis, you're still not a liar
Although a person of your genius and skill should be rather old.
You became stronger not weaker as your family cracked,
I think when your father left; your world violently tore apart.
To save the People and your dad we firmly made a pact;
I saw you differently that say; something changed within my heart.
Then you got me involved with the messy business in the States
(You should have seen the colour of Commander Julius Root)
We meet so frequently I know someone's mingling with our fates
Though we can't meet again—otherwise I'll be given the boot.
It's done with sorrow; I eliminate traces of the past.
We can't allow the risk of you launching another attack.
I can trust you now, but for how long will this minor truce last?
Saving Butler was a coincidence. You know I'm a quack.
One thing's for sure Mud-Boy: I'm certainly going to miss you.
