Happy Love
by Memphis Lupine
--
Some things, he reflected, were simply worth facing the threat of Sanji (and his feet of doom), not one to ever skimp on the kicking of ass.
Those things – oh, beautiful and splendid they were, bright red and fiery to the taste – could clock even that stupid tiny voice in the back of his head warning him to think again, to consider the complications (whatever that meant).
He would throw himself headfirst through a solid wall – had done so before – just to earn the appreciation, the beauty of these beloved prizes; what did he care about "concussions" (from Chopper) or "stupid goddamn bastard" (from Sanji, who apparently did not like people knocking down the walls of his kitchen).
Yes, thought Luffy happily, some things were just worth it; and he crammed the drumstick, sauce dripping to the floor, into his mouth.
