Since there are not many HTTYD fanfics I thought I might write one. Hope you all like it and please tell me what you think of it.

I don't remember much about my past. The dragons tell me I came from a shipwreck washed upon their island. The island I live on is called Camouflage Island. There are no other humans on this island I am the only one that has survived with them. They took pity on me and even gave me a name since I didn't have one when I came. They call me Change. I took on the language of Dragonese and even learnt how to understand them. This island is for all types of dragons. Changewings, night furies, there's a Bone napper, Skrill, Typhomerang, a Thunder Drum and loads more but this story is partly about dragons. Mainly this story is of Change and the Dragon Riders.

Change's adoptive mother, a Changewing, went off fishing again for lunch. Change was with the Night Fury helping around the island. No one had ever visited the island that Change was on and for all she knew she could only ride a night fury. For she had never seen the dragon riders.

BACK AT BERK.

"Dad I'm taking Toothless out for a ride," cried Hiccup as he bounded out the door.

"Is your room clean?" questioned Stoack the Vast.

"Yes" Hiccup replied quickly hoping that his dad wouldn't notice he was lying.

"Ok but be back before I serve your dinner or I will feed it to Typhomerang," joked Stoak. Hiccup bounded out the door to greet Toothless.

"Hi buddy. Ready to go for a ride?" asked Hiccup laughing as Toothless rolled his eyes. Hiccup knew that Toothless was always ready to go for a ride but the trouble started before he could even get on Toothless. Toothless started acting strange. Not the normal 'to ride me you must catch me' but a weird one like what had happened when Hiccup found the Typhomerang. Toothless raced to the door No stopping for Hiccup, and running straight to the cliff overlooking the sea. He let out a crie that could be heard for miles around, it sounded painful.

On Change Island.

Sunset (Change's adoptive mother) had just gotten back from a day at fishing. With ten fish on her back she started going home. That's when the trouble started for good.

Hiccups and Toothless' point of view.

"Hey bud since when did Changewings come out this far to the ocean? I thought they only lived on land," asked Hiccup to Toothless. In reply Toothless put his head on the side as if wondering as well.

Just then Sunset noticed the dragon and rider. Making sure that they weren't looking the Changewing camouflage into its surroundings.

"Hahahah," Laughed Hiccup "Hey bud it's not every day you see fish floating on mid-air, is it?".

Now noticing that they saw the fish, Sunset didn't want to show them the island that she came from she veered off. But it was too late. Hiccup saw the island from Toothless' back.

"Hey bud lets have a look at that island there," Hiccup suggested signalling to camouflage Island.

Sunset noticing the change went into protective mother mode (that's what I call it anyway), trying to get them to leave Sunset let out a cry that all dragons on the island knew. But Toothless knew it to. He tried to get Hiccup to turn around but failed. Trying to do a half spin backwards Toothless misjudged and started to plummet into the ocean.

Rosebud the night fury poked her head out to see what was happening after Sunset let out the warning cry saw Toothless plummet but didn't see Hiccup.

"What is happening?" cried Change in Dragontongue
