I do not own Inuyasha

I often say that if you don't think I deserve the review, you don't have to review. But I don't quite understand why "The Rebellious Slave" did not received review from some of the people that often leave comments behind? And clearly they liked it because they follows and favorites it. Is there a reason or did you guys (who have read it) just didn't feel like commenting? Just wondering.

Now to the story :D

Rin wasn't afraid of the darkness because she knew her lord was walking in front of her.

Jaken, ridding on Ah-Un, was sent to meet with some demon and would not be back for some times. Now, only Rin was left with Sesshomaru.

She had returned to him after he offered her the choice between coming back to him or staying with the humans. She was now seventeen.

She didn't hate darkness, but she wasn't very happy with her human eye sight because she could not see anything. And her lord decided to travel even on this new moon night. He had no trouble seeing in the dark, but it wasn't the same for her.

She didn't want to slow him down or displeased him with her clumsiness.

As if on cue, she stumbled on sometime and nearly fell.

She should have made a torch or something that could provide lights to her so she could see the way. She was now as good as blind.

"Rin," Sesshomaru's cold baritone voice came from in front of her. The light footsteps that she had listened intensely to to lead the way had stopped.

"I can't see anything in this darkness, Lord Sesshomaru." She confessed sheepishly.

Long pregnant took place on the refreshing cool night air. The sparkle stars tinkled in the black night sky.

Rin stared right in front of her to where the lord she could not see stood.

After a long wait he ordered, "Come."

Rin felt warm gentle fingers slowly slipped into hers. His big hand snugly wrapped and entwined with her smaller one.

Rin's heart quickened without her permission, her respiration became difficult. Her cheeks rose with a tin of pink color, and she felt warm blood cursing throughout her entire body.

A slow smile sneaked its way to her flush lips without her realizing, brought each corners of her lips up. She didn't know that Sesshomaru had been staring intensely at her happy face. If she had known she would have turned bright red or even shoot out stream through her ears.

Rin felt Sesshomaru's hand gently pulled hers leading the way and Rin started to follow.

"Thank you." She murmured shyly. No matter what she was now a woman. And this was the first time she had actually held hand with a man.

"Hn," came his silky voice. The rest of the walk continued in silence with only their footsteps and her racing heartbeats.

If walking in the dark meant she got to hold hand with Sesshomaru then she wished the new moon would come every night.

Smpt : I hope you read this story. I answer your question from Short and Sweet here. The reason why your review didn't show up right away on Barrel of Laughs' story is because there is this place where the author could set and chose to wait to approve the guest's reviews first before it showed up. If the author didn't do anything about the reviews, it will show up after 3 days. Some authors allow guest's reviews to be post without needing approval while some does. I hope that explained it to you. And yes, I've noticed that he/she has copy my story and has been sending out report to FF. Hopefully they will do something about it soon. And thanks for stood up for plagiarism. That meant so much to me that everyone cared. :D
