So this is the first story on this account. It's supposed to be 100 words. I don't have much else to say. This is a two part piece.
David bounced up and down on the balls of his feet, eagerly waiting for the results. He had just been admitted into the Society, and it turned he was a two-four. He was going to find out what his species was.
It's probably something fierce, and breathes fire, and it's all awesome, and-
The 14 year olds thoughts were cut off by his assessor's announcement.
"You're a unicorn companion."
"What?!" David replied, in horror.
"Yes, and you're in luck. A unicorn mentor was visiting."
"Lucky!?"
"Yes, please follow."
David trudged behind his assessor, grumbling his consent but he didn't stop to heed.
Which is better? Being ridiculed because I'm not in the society or being ridiculed for being a Unicorn companion? Which is worse?
I know it's really, really, short, but I'm not sure what else to put.
