"Doisu!" Ludwig looked up from his book time to see his friend, Feliciano, running over to his table.
It was lunch time at the WA (or World Academy), and the German was sitting alone, waiting for his friends to join him.
"Ciao! What are you doing, Ludwig?" The Italian asked, plopping in the seat across from him.
"Gut ten tag, Feliciano. Just reading and if you don't mind, I'd like to continue." He replied, returning to book. After about a minute or two, Feli spoke up again.
"Hey, Doisu?" he began in a childlike tone. "Could you help me with something?"
The blonde sighed, knowing he wasn't going to continue reading for the rest of lunch, and put up his book. "What is it?"
"I don't understand geometry."
"What don't you get?"
"Everything! There's too many theorems and formulas to remember." Feli whined with a cute pout.
"Well, what is your class learning now?"
"uhhhh….that thing with, uh, triangles and the, uh, pencil circle thing. You know, the thing that Fratello stabbed Antonio with?"
Ludwig blinked. "A compass?"
"Si, that thing!"
"Alright, let me your homework." The Italian reached into his bag and pulled out the requested paper, and handed it to his friend. First thing Ludwig noticed was that it was blank. "Why didn't you do it?"
"How could I when I didn't understand it?" he had a point, the German thought.
"Fine. Let's start with something easy. " "Mid-segments; what do you know about them?"
"Uhhh…that they're connecting mid-points?"
"Ja, and that the distance of the mid-segment is half of the parallel side"
"So if the distance of one side is 18.24 than the mid-segment parallel to it is 8.12?"
"Nine." Confusion swept across the Italian's face.
"No? But I'm pretty sure it is."
"Nine!"
"Doisu, if it's not then what is it?"
"Nine, nine, nine!"
"Please stop yelling at me! You know I hate being yelled at in Germen!" Feliciano cried, small tears collecting in the corners of his eyes.
"Nien, you dummkpof! The answer is nine!"
"Oh…so 9.12?
"Ja."
"And this one is 7?"
"Nein."
"Oh, it's nine, too? Okay!" He said with a smile and wrote down his answer.
The German hid his face in his hands and sighed, "...I give up."
