The Words To Say

Dear Miley,
There is something I would like to tell y-
Joe stopped, balled up the piece of paper he was writing on and threw it across the room to his trash can, which was already filled to the brim with paper.
He groaned and took out a new piece of paper
Miles,
I really, really, reall-
Joe didn't finish the sentence before he knew that, that wasn't going to work.
He ran a hand through his hair in frustration.
He leaned back in his chair and stared at the ceiling
"How can I tell her?!" he asked no one in particular.
He stared at the ceiling for quite awhile, but, then a smile slowly spread across his face.
He got up from his seat and rushed to Kevin's room
"Kevin, I need you to do me a big favor," Joe said coming inside the room
"Yes, Joseph, you can come in" The eldest Jonas Brother said dryly
"Kev, I'm serious,"
Kevin sighed and asked, "What is it?"
Miley was getting ready for bed when she heard something outside her window. The brunette listened closely and realized that it was music. She went over to see what was going on.
Looking out her window, she saw people playing instruments, and not just any people, they were the Jonas Brothers! From what she could tell, Nick was playing the drums, Kevin and Joe were playing guitars.
Miley opened her window and recognized the song they were playing: Just Friends.
But, the thing was, Nick wasn't singing the lead…
Joe was
And he was looking her right in the eyes
"Everyone knows it's meant to be,
Falling in love just you and me,
'Till the end of time,
'Till I'm on your mind,
It'll happen
I've been makin' lost of plans,
Like a picket fence and a rose garden,
I'll just keep on dreamin'
But, It's cool 'cuz we're just friends"
Miley covered her mouth with her hand when she realized what that going on:
He was serenading her
And when the song ended and Joe said, 'I love you, Miley,' Miley couldn't believe it, he finally found the words.
A/N: This short one shot was inspired by the song 'You're A God' by Vertical Horizon. I dunno, when the line 'I hope I can find the words to say' came on, I felt inspired, which is usually a good thing. It's not my best work, but, It's a step in the right direction
