Speed Drabble – "Vain" Lavender Brown/Seamus Finnigan, and "I am not the problem!"
Note: 'tis will be the last thing I'll be writing until almost August, cheers!
Lavender looked into the mirror again, her beautiful golden hair displayed on the reflection of her face. She loved looking into the mirror, as it reminded her of how pretty she was.
Her boyfriend didn't seem to think so to. He called her vain, and useless and the problem of their disastrous relationship, but Lavender had answered with a huff and a yell saying something among the lines of, "I am not the problem!"
Still, Seamus treated her like flower worm poop, and she was very tired of it. Lavender was pretty, had an awesome personality and was actually pretty intelligent, so she didn't really understand why her boyfriend started disliking her so much.
But one day, one hot day of summer, Lavender recalled, she entered her dorm in search of her mirror to look in, (she needed to see her face once again,) she found herself with a little surprise. Seamus was sitting on the side of her bed, gripping tight Lavender's mirror while he looked intensely into it. Lavender tilted her head, how had he even gotten up the stairs and to the girls' dorm? Was he actually a man? Ridiculous sort of questions started popping in her head, but she was unable to find an answer.
"Seamus," Lavender greeted with a tilt of her head, and asked "what the hell are you doing here?"
The irishman jumped almost five feet in the air, completely startled by his girlfriend's sudden appearance. Lavender laughed, "See? The mirror just pulls you in,"
