I heard this song on the radio a while ago. It was the weirdest thing. I thought, "WHOA! That sounds sorta like Edward's theme song! How Freakin' AWESOME!" It's called 'Voices' by Chris Young.
Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight or 'Voices' by Chris Young.

As I walked through Forks High, I felt as if I would be slowly driven crazy by all the pointless thoughts in everyone's minds. Why were they so concerned about what they were doing on Friday night and being popular when their poor excuses for lives could be snuffed out so quickly by a vampire's loss of control. Did they not realized how fragile they were?
You could say I'm a little bit crazy
You could call me insane
Walkin' 'round with all these whispers
Runnin' 'round here in my brain
I just can't help but hear 'em
Man, I can't avoid it
Their thoughts seem to bounce randomly from place to place. There's Mike, thinking about the family store. Angela, thinking about her homework after school. Lauren, oh the clothes she will buy this weekend and how her mom tells her to use it for something better. But does she really care?
I hear voices
I hear voices like
My dad sayin' work that job
But don't work your life away
Mama tellin' me to drop some cash
In the offering plate on Sunday
And granddad sayin' you can have a few
But don't ever cross that line
Yeah I hear voices all the time
Every once in a while, though, I hear a philosophical thought in the swirl of high school drama. I also and blessed to have Carlisle to talk to and help keep me sane. His guidance has really helped me this past hundred years.
Turns out I'm pretty dang lucky
For all that good advice
Those hard to find words of wisdom
Holed up here in my mind
And just when I've lost my way
Or I got to many choices
But the one voice I don't hear and wish so much I could is Bella's. To understand her better. Care for her better. Love her more. Make her my only one for eternity.
I hear voices
I hear voices like
My dad sayin' quit that team
And you'll be a quitter for the rest of your life
Mama tellin' me to say a prayer
Every time I lay down at night
And grandma sayin' if you find the one
You'd better treat her right
Yeah, I hear voices all the time
I usually block the overly dramatic voices of my fellow students. They will start to bother me sometimes. But then there are times when I listen, just to remember that this power of mine is part of who I am and that no matter how hard I try, it will never go completely away.
Sometimes I try to ignore 'em
But I thank God for 'em
'Cause they made me who I am

There's a last verse, but it didn't really fit so I deleted it. Some people might recognize this a little bit. I originally had just the lyrics up and I though 'This is stupid. I'm just gunna delete this' So I did. Then, I saw this in my little documents place and I thought 'You know, I could redo that' so I did. I added Eward's thoughts to it. So...yeah.
