The day, unknown. Time, night. A young man in a very nice looking car drove along the empty roads of a forest trail, blasting Metallica at full volume. His destination, to meet or rather recruit a very special man for a very special work. And he would have done it too if he wasn't suddenly taken away in a bright burst of light, his car parked safely at the road side.
On a different location, a young tall man and a young blonde lady were on their bed, taking about mundane things and enjoying themselves when they too were taken away in a bright burst of light.
Similar things happened to various other people. One a gruff looking man in a truck on the outskirt of a lake town, a trucker cooking meal at his place, a mother and daughter minding their business. But they weren't the only ones, a suited up man at a cross road and a ball of glowing white light were taken off too, along with a blonde, burned woman in white.
All collected humans and others were dumped in a wide white room with a huge white screen. They all groaned untangling themselves from the piled they were dumped in to and separated, dusting themselves off. "Where the hell are we" the young man from the car exclaimed looking pissed that he was separated from his mission and car, especially his car like that. "If you were to quiet down maybe we could figure it out" the suite up man said, rubbing his head. "Or I could just tell you" said a cheerful voice making everyone turn around and take up a defensive stance on instinct. The man who had just spoken merely raised a hand signaling he was not going to cause any harm. "Who are you? And why are we here?" the tall young man asked calmly, an arm in front of his lady, pushing her slowly behind him. "I was just getting to that. My name is Skylark, last name don't want to reveal. God it's good to be back in my own home ground" he whispered the last part to himself. "It would be nice if you answered the next part right away Skylork" the daughter said with a bit of defiance in her voice and a promise of pain. "Skylark" he rolled his eyes, "And you guys and gals and all those of no specific genders are brought in this fine room to view your future" he said with a smile. "Our future?" the gruff looking man asked with narrowed eyes. "Yes your future. Well it will mostly be centered on two very special humans but you lot have a big role to play in this" he said with a serious look that brought everyone on edge. "And how are you managing this?" the man in the suit asked. "Who do you think has enough powers to bring back a lowly soul for the dead and juice it up with so much power that he can kidnap people and others and bring them into a room outside space and time and reveal to them their future?" he asked mysteriously. A man in a trench coat sudden pushed forward and looked at Skylark, "He is here? He has returned?" he asked frantically, like he was looking for some family he had ended up losing. "Who is this trench coat guy talking about?" the trucker wearing a "kiss the cook" apron asked or more like grumbled out. "Oh just the big man upstairs. And no my friend he is not here but rest assured that he is watching and that is reason why I am here to show you, show you all the future so that you might be able to change the outcomes and set the record straight" he said calmly with a small smile. The trench coat wearing man stepped back, looking down cast but with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. "Why can't he do it himself? He is God after all" the young blonde woman said. "Well he did create you lot with the power of choice did he not? Why would he do it when you yourself can do it? Anyways, enough of that. Get to introductions already so that the show may begin and the wheels of fate can be set right because it's all going to hell on the way it's set on" Skylark said.
Now the people really looked around the room and there were four sharp intake of breaths. "John?" the woman in white asked as she hugged the gruff looking man who seemed too shocked to actually react. It took him a moment but he reacted with a return hug so fiercely that he looked to be holding onto a lifeline. When he looked up, the others were staring at them, two pairs of eyes looked especially shocked. "I'm John Winchester. And this is my wife Mary" he said as he patted Mary on the back. She smiled and greeted everyone before her eyes stopped on the young man from the car and her mind seemed to be trying to connect some dot. "Dean" the man said, "Dean Winchester". Mary's eyes widened at the words as she looked at her now adult son. "I'm Sam, Sam Winchester. And this is my girlfriend Jessica Moore" Sam introduced himself and Mary's eyes shot to the tall young man who looked at her with a sad smile. She untangled herself from her Husband's embrace and hugged both her son's tightly as they hugged her back, none of the three pairs of eyes dry. "Bobby Singer" the trucker said, removing his apron and throwing it away for now. "Ellen Harvelle. And this is my daughter Joanna Beth Harvelle" she said looking critically at John. "Call me Jo" Jo said looking at her mother curiously. "Guess it only us left trench coat" the man in the suit said. The trench coat wearing man stepped forward and all attention was now on him. "I am Castiel. An Angel of the Lord" he said as thunder flashed out of nowhere and the shadow of his wings were seen making many eyes go wide in wonder. "Show offs" Skylark muttered making the suited up man chuckled. "And I'm Crowley. You average cross roads demon" he smirked, eyes blinking to crimson, much to the shock of everyone. All present hunters tried to reach for their weapons but found themselves empty handed. "Right all your weapons were confiscated and will be returned to you after the viewing. Same goes for you two. Your powers have been neutralized and will be returned once this is all over. Oh and before I leave" Skylark snapped his fingers and everyone was dressed in casual attires after which he disappeared in a bright flash of light.
"Guess we gotta watch if we wanna return" Dean said taking a seat in a beanbag and almost sinking into it with a comfortable sigh. Sam sat with Jessica on a couch and right between Dean and him were their parents. Bobby sat right behind them, beside Ellen and Jo. Castiel took the other bean bag while Crowley sat on an armchair. Dean took the remote, eager to see the future. The guy did bring them here to change it but how bad could it be? Maybe the guy was just exaggerating. He leaned into the beanbag and pressed play as the screen sizzled to life.
