Trapped in a space station with Savix:
A brisk wind swept through the busy streets of Los Angeles as I walked with my phone in my hand. I was sending out my followers on missions with the World of Warcraft Legion Companion App, but I couldn't seem to be able to focus. Today was the first day that I would be interning with Elon Musk and it would inevitably eat up all my time. That meant less time playing arenas, less time on Twitch, and worst of all... less time with my Savix. I began to get flustered and began to walk faster as I opened up to see him one last time before my big internship.
I had been with Savix through the good times and the bad, I remember feeling intense jealousy when he carried Anniefuchsia to 2k for dominant elite, I remember smiling when he played 2s with Claaak, I remember crying all day and all night when I thought he was quitting wow, and I cried even more when I heard how he had to say goodbye to his dog Coco and most of all, I fondly remember how driven he was to promote his #soloqueue dream. At the time, I was just an average grill gamer who farmed transmog and never thought PvP was all that much fun. Savix's determination in face of a Blizzard Entertainment who constantly told him no inspired me. I wanted to be just like him: funny, cool, and unstoppable in his goals. These are the things that first attracted me to the retribution paladin, but despite this, I didn't want him to solo queue. I wanted to just scream out in the Twitch chat, "Savix! You don't have to queue all alone! I will always be with you!" I wanted to confess my feelings to him, but I was afraid that he wouldn't take me seriously and that the chat would spam SavixLul at me.
I shook my head in frustration. "What do they know?" I said out loud to myself, "I know Savix better than anyone, I watch every stream, and I never gamble my weed points so everyone can see that I am always ranked #1 as his biggest fan. I bought all the merchandise and I have made some all on my own... I love him." As I open up the Twitch page, I realize that Savix wasn't online.
Funny. Savix is always streaming when I need him most. Each time he was about to stop streaming I would clasp my hands together and pray for him to keep going, and sure enough, he would say the one line that got me more excited than any other, "Alright that game didn't count, THIS game will be my last game." I looked up from my phone in disappointment, it was a miracle I didn't bump into anyone with my head down for so long. In my peripheral vision I can see someone staring at my face. I turn towards them but as I do so the shirt that they are wearing catches my eye. The shirt had a white triangle with what looked to be Korean characters written vertically inside of the triangle. My mouth dropped in shock, this was Savix's official #soloqueue shirt. As I saw the words printed on the bottom of the design, I knew it to be true, "SOLOQUEUE M1106-1993." It was the very same one I was wearing. I stopped feeling my hands and my chest began to swell. As I looked up, it was none other than Savix looking right at me.
"You… Make your own Merchandise..?" He asked. As I began to feint, Savix quickly reached out to catch my falling body in his strong arms. "Whoa, are you okay?" Savix said in a concerned tone.
I began to fan myself with my hand as I tried to regain my composure, "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Savix! It's you! Why are you here? I thought I would never get the chance to see you like this." I said, trembling in his arms.
"Oh, I should be streaming, but today I was invited by my good friend Elon Musk to check out what he'll do for his latest Mars-one project."
I almost shed a tear. Savix was not only going to be in the same internship as I was, he was good friends with Elon Musk and probably already knows all about his space program too. He was exactly the same as he was on stream. I blushed when I realized I had practically been staring into his eyes for nearly thirty seconds and I hadn't answered any of his questions as my lifeless body was being held in his arms. My face began to heat up in embarrassment as I stood up on my own, looking away from Savix's handsome face for a brief moment in order to gain enough composure to say, "Don't worry! I am totally fine! Wow, I am going to the same internship if you can believe it! Don't mind me! I am just from your stream and I watch you a lot!" I began to feel feint from all the hyperventilating I was doing but I was still proud that I managed to form words.
"Oh. That's cool, want to walk there together?" He said.
I nodded happily while my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't believe he managed to be so calm after he heard all those creepy things I said before. Wasn't he scared? No, Savix was never scared. It didn't matter if he was playing against 2700 teams or dealing with crazy fangirls, he was always in a world of his own, always finding a way to win, one way or another.
We reached the Elon Musk internship building and we met Elon Musk. Musk snapped and pointed finger guns at Savix, "Hey! Hashtag soloqueue am I right?"
Savix laughed nervously and thanked Elon for supporting the soloqueue dream. "So, are we going to tour the space station here or something Mr. Elon Musk?"
Elon Musk suddenly became serious, clearing his throat menacingly, "About that…" Elon began. "The space station isn't here on earth, it will be up on Mars. You'll be learning about the Mars-one project alright, YOU WILL BE ON IT! AHAHAHA!" Elon Musk cackled with laughter as two gigantic guards came up from behind me and grabbed both of my arms.
"Savix! Save me!" I yelled out, but as I looked up I noticed that two more guards nearly three feet taller than Savix came up behind him to grab his arms too!"
Author's note: Savix being short doesn't bother me at all as a matter of fact I think it's super cute.
"Holinka save me!" Savix yelled out as we were both taken to a rocket ship and tied down to the seats. A monitor came on with a live feed from Elon Musk.
"Why did you do this?" I asked, helplessly struggling against the binds I was put in.
Elon Musk shrugged, "Think about it ThatSan'laynGirl, no one in their right mind would be so stupid to actually go on an exploratory expedition to Mars. I had to kidnap the two people who no one would look for after they went missing." Elon Musk adjusted his tie, "That's right, the most famous streamer of the WoW section and his little girl stalker."
I blushed a little bit at the word "Stalker." I just wanted some attention from Savix after being a fan for so long, but now I was dying of embarrassment.
"You won't get away with this Elon Musk!" Savix said defiantly, "I am going to bust out of this rope your goons tied me up with, I am going to spam JV when you use deterrence in order to lower my cooldown of HoJ and then I will kick your ass and make a YouTube video out of it and I'll spend all night editing it because every video I make is a complete masterpiece and then I'll hit Rank 1 again because I can!" Savix was so sexy when he was angry.
"We'll see about that!" Elon Musk said as he began to launch the rocket.
"Savix! We need to find a way to get out of this rope and get out of this rocked!" I exclaimed.
"Do u no de wey?" Savix memed.
I began to giggle, Savix always had the funniest memes, even in a dire situation like the one we were in right now, "Savix, now really isn't the time for that." I said with an endearing smile on my face.
"Show me de wey ma queen." Savix said as the rocket went airborne and we began to fly.
"I guess it's too late to escape now, I guess I really am going to be trapped in a space station with Savix." I said to myself.
"Is ThatSan'laynGirl your name?" Savix asked raising one eyebrow, "That's what Elon called you, is that right? I remember you in chat, you main holy priest right?"
I nodded my head, "Yeah, that's me. You can call me Sarah Thompson though. I am not a good priest, but I always wanted to play with you, it's why I wanted to play a healer, to support you, to take care of you when you get sick or hurt." I said, beginning to get flustered once again.
"My real name is Savix Soloqueue. I haven't… Told anyone before. Honestly, it's not too bad being rich and famous, but sometimes I need a break. I am more than just a funny ret pally, I am also a deep and sensitive ret pally too."
"Oh Savix…" I said. It had never occurred to me that streaming would be just a huge burden on Savix, while I always wanted him to stream so that I could spend time with him, I had no idea it could be so tiresome. "You shouldn't worry about the stream so much, your viewers… We only want the best for you Savix." I said empathetically.
With a sudden crash, our space ship had collided with the surface of Mars. My rope wasn't tied as tightly as Savix's and my binds broke as I flew out of my seat and hit my leg incredibly hard against the wall of the spaceship.
"Sarah!" Savix called out, with newfound strength, he broke free of the rope with his muscles and began to float towards me in the zero-gravity. He imitated the human swimming animation to move through the space ship. "Oh no." He said, "Your leg it's broken."
"Oh gosh." I said, "This is just terrible. I have no idea how we are going to survive without any oxygen, food or water, and now we also have my broken leg to worry about."
"Don't worry" Savix said as he moved to open up the emergency exit, "I can take care of everything, don't worry Sarah, you may find this hard to believe, but I deal with these sorts of situations all the time."
"Wait!" I cried out, "Savix! If you open that door the vacuum of space will kill us both! You can't just step out into space wearing your jeans and your soloqueue tshirt now available at ! You'll die!"
I closed my eyes as Savix opened the door, but unbelievably, I was still alive! "How did you…?" I looked around and realized I was enclosed in a blessing of protection! I looked over to Savix and realized he had bubbled himself.
"I am not just a paladin on WoW Sarah. I didn't want to scare you…" Savix flashed me a smile with his white teeth, "But I am a paladin in real life too."
