Hey everyone. This story was written for November Event: Build a Zoo on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I wrote for Kangaroos Enclosure and the prompt set I used are Action: Swinging Fists, Pairing: Blaise/Ron, and Setting: The Quidditch Pitch. I hope you all enjoy A Kiss Under the Bleachers.
Neither boy knew when the fight that broke out between them it would end up in a heated make out session on the Quidditch Pitch. But if you asked Blaise he would tell you that it was Ron that started it. All of it. He had gone down to the Pitch to watch Draco and Slytherin team practice and to draw a bit. He loved drawing. It was one of the few things he did to entertain himself. Kind of like Draco tormented Hermione Granger by calling names and that was how he kept himself entertained. Blaise was just thinking how Draco might have a small crush on Granger when the Gryffindor team showed up.
"Oy," he heard Ron's voice even from place in stands, "what are you lot doing here? Harry said he booked the Pitch for Gryffindor right."
Knowing that trouble was about to start Blaise jumped to his feet and ran onto the Pitch. He just gotten to the group when the fists started flying. He didn't see who threw the first punch but he knows he was going to join on the Slytherin side of things. He'd always join on the Slytherin side of things.
"What are you staring at?" came the angry voice of one Ronald Weasley.
"Nothing," Blaise heard his own voice hiss back and the next thing he knew he was on the ground seeing stars. He hadn't expected the punch to come which was stupid he'd just insulted Weasley. Of course the boy was going to punch him.
He heard Ron's laugh as the other boy rejoined the fray. All Blaise could see now was the swinging fists of the combatants around him and then people started running. He didn't know why they were running he just knew they were. He felt himself being hoisted to his feet and drug along.
"Come on, Slytherin," hissed Ron's voice as he was pulled under the seats in the stand.
"What's going on?" Blaise found himself asking in confusion. "What's happening?"
"Someone must have seen the fight and called a Professor," Ron muttered watching as not only Professor McGonagall walked onto the Pitch but also Professor Snape. "I can't believe that both Snape and McGonagall came down to stop the fight."
"I know," Blaise muttered. He turned to find Ron looking at him in strange way. A way that he found frightening and exhilarating at the same time. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"No reason," Ron said fidgeting with his hands.
Fidgeting in Blaise's book a number one way to tell if someone was lying to you about something. Why would Ron feel the need to lie about the way he was looking at him? "Are you sure?" Blaise asked raising an eyebrow.
"Uh...um..." Ron sighed before pulling Blaise towards him.
The next thing Blaise knew the other boy's lips were on his own. Shock took over and he felt kind of numb before his lips started moving against the other boy's lips. He felt Ron's hands slide down his back before they both broke apart for air. Maybe, Blaise thought, I should ask him out this weekend.
I hope you all enjoyed A Kiss Under the Bleachers.
