Prologue:
…. 'man this summer sure is a bummer. But what the heck it's a good day here in Magnolia and there's just nothing to do here.' was all Natsu could think of. He was just sitting on a lounge chair at the pool where he was watching his best friend/enemy Gray being chased around by his stalker/ crush Juvia. "Gray-sama please! Juvia wants to be one with her dear Gray-sama in the pool." "Oh hell no Juvia don't you dare come near me!". "Gray your clothes." Reminded their friend Cana who was drinking from a water bottle which oddly enough was not water. "Damn it when did that happen?!" exclaimed a flustered Gray who was now in his boxer briefs.
"serves you right stripper"laughed Natsu. "you wanna go pink haired pyro freak?", "what did you say ice princess?". And then a brawl ensued in which ended with Gray now completely nude and Juvia fainting with a nose-bleed with the words"Gray-sama Juvia has seen something wonderful" . "what the hell happened here?" asked a voice which suddenly made the boys tremble ." n-n-n-n-nothing E-e-e-erza. Nothing." Answered both boys who suddenly had their arms around each other like they were best buddies forever."Good. I don't want to hear anymore fighting." Suddenly they heard a person scream "HELPPPP! Someone is drowning in the pool." Natsu with out even thinking went and jumped into the deep end of the pool where he emerged a few seconds later with a blond girl who was not breathing, frantically Natsu began performing CPR to the blond girl when a tall person with a thin white goatee came up to Natsu and placed his hand on the shoulder and said"leave it to me young master, I'll take it from here." "O-okay sure old man." The man just looked at him with mild annoyance and said " I'm not that old you know." Unbeknownst to Natsu his scarf slipped from his head and his salmon –cough- pink locks was shown to the whole world to see and a very weary blond just caught a glimpse of the enticing pink locks.
After that ordeal happened Natsu and his friends promptly left the pool area and boarded the bus back home."ugh-" moaned a motion sick Natsu as his friends were giving a helping hand cough-laughing-cough at a weary Natsu. After he got of the death contraption known as a bus he headed home where he was greeted with a flaming slap to the head "what the hell old man" he shouted at a man with reddish hair " who are you calling old you brat" replied the man "IGNEEEEL, you better not be fighting with your own son" "no of course not deeney dear" he answered a woman of medium build who had blue hair. Now the man who attacked Natsu was called Igneel a successfull middle class businessman and the woman's name was Grandeeney. Their family was consisted of three children namely Natsu and a cute young girl known as Wendy. As such this was a normal occurrence in the Dragneel household. Oh and also there was the troublesome eldest son Zeref.
Meanwhile at another part of town a sandy blond haired man was sitting in the office working on some papers when knock was heard " enter" was the only word he said."sir there is something you should know which happened today while the young mistress was at the pool. It seems she drowned in the deep end of the pool. –" a resounding " WHAT" could be heard . " now don't worry sir she was saved by a good natured, kind hearted boy with a sharp tongue," "that's fine, so who is this young boy" "I don't know sir" "find him" remarked the man. "oh yes I recall on peculiar trait his hair was pink." "so he is gay right?" "I'm not so sure sir" "thank you. That is all". And the man left.
The blonde haired man just went to his daughter's room where she was lying in bed, he ruffled her hair where she woke up " Dad?" "it's all right Lucy you're here with me". "So anything new dad?" "oh nothing important just that you should rest because I've got you a place in Fairy Tail High. So you have two weeks to get yourself ready." "ok dad I love you" "love you too sweetheart."replied her father.
Time skip: two weeks later
Beeep- beeep. Natsu groaned in bed'one day I'm gonna burn that damn alarm clock to ashes.' He thought. "Natsu wake up! You'll be late for school." Wendy called fromacross the hall. "yeah yeah just keep down already" replied an already drowsy Natsu. He put on his uniform and once glance to the clock told him he was going to be late if he did'nt hurry. He ran out of the house with a pice of toast smeared with hot sauce as he tried to get to school.( A.N: A cliché anime toast in mouth scene I know sorry! Does a thousand apology bows.) as he reached the school gates he met none other than Erza Scarlet herself "oh you're already here Natsu at least for once you're early." "What did you say Erza?!. I'll fight you right here and now. I'm all fired u-" he didn't get to finish his sentence when Erza dealt him a quick blow to the face which knocked him straight out. Unfortunately for Natsu Gray arrived at the same time to witness Natsu getting knocked out by Erza "serves you right ash for brains" Gray mocked while laughing but suddenly stopped laughing when he heard a familiar"Gray-samaaaaaaa Juvia is coming for you my darling Gray-samaaaaa!" "oh shit" was what Gray said before running away with an ecstatic Juvia chasing after him with hearts in her eyes.
When Natsu finally woke up he found himself in the homeroom with the other students talking about the summer holiday. He just shook his head and stared out the window.'It's just like every year nice and quiet just how I like it.' "Alright brats sit down already and listen to me!" boomed their homeroom teacher Mr. Laxus Dreyar. He was'nt older than 3 to 4 years than the students but since his grandfather was the principal of the school he gave him a job as a teacher at Fairy Tail High. His most prominent feature was the pair of headphones he always wore and a lightning shaped scar on his eye. He usually wasn't afraid to discipline rowdy students such as Natsu and sometimes he even sent them to the infirmary.
Since it was a boring day for Natsu he couldn't help but catch Laxus' words of a new student. So when Laxus began "Alright brats today we are going to have a new student. Welcome her and make her feel at home. Got that brats?!" "come in and introduce yourself "
"hello my name is Lucy Heartfilia and I'm from Acalypha. Nice to meet -Pinkyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" "what the –" was all Natsu could manage.
