Prompt #342 (Emotion) Anger

"You better let me out of here!" Archie's hands were squeezed around the bars.

"Calm down." The officer rolled his eyes. "You are going to be behind there for a very long time Mr. Archie Andrews." A smirk on his firm lips. "A very very long time."

"I didn't do it." Archie's eyes grew hard. "Once my name is clear then I'll be reporting you for false arrest."

"How false is the arrestt when even the FBI is after you." Officer Snuff folded his arms across his lean chest. And I thought those Hardy Boys were headaches.

"I feel my ears burning Frank." Joe's voice joked as he walked into the main room of Bayport's police station. "Are you thinking about us again Snuff?"

Snuff rolled his eyes as he turned to face the two teenage boys. "You two Hardy Boys will be much better company then mister anger behind the bars."

Frank looked over Snuff's shoulder at the angry but highly scared ginger haired teenage boy behind the bars. He walked over to the jail. "You need to calm down Archie. If you keep behaving like this ... or you keep trying to out run the law ... then even through you may be innoncent ... you will still be serving time for leaving town against your bail."

Archie's chest tightened. "I'm trying to prove that I'm innocent. That I was framed."

Joe walked over to stand next to his brother. "If you try to live out on the run; then you are just harming your case." He sighed. "My brother and I are trying to help you by tracking down every lead that our father is finding."

"Look, I serously can't stand being locked behind bars." Archie sighed deeply. "I'm not worried about myself here. I have friends. I have family. If whomever has set me up ... then they will harm them and there won't be a thing I can do to protect them if I'm in prison."

"How can you help them if you end up dead?" Frank spoke in a low and serious voice.

Archie's eyes teared up.
