0pen, close, and pack.

It was this ritual of packing that had given me some time to think in between opening an old box, looking inside, and packing it inside the truck that we had gotten from Port Angeles.

It was time for a move. A new beginning in another drastically sun deprived city of the world. Probably far, far away from the miniscule town of Forks. Bella's town for now, at least two years.

Bella. Bella was out on one last trip to her father's house. Feeding him a lie about finally starting college at Dartmouth. She had taken Renesmee with her, a way for her daughter to say a final goodbye as well.

I had already seen Charlie yesterday, claiming that I would be to busy today with luggage. It was not a total lie as I was packing right now, though, if I had put my mind on it, I would have been able to finish the cottage in a matter of minutes.

Instead, I took this time to relax or as Emmett would say it; chillax.

I heard a two faint bodies running through the forest at breathtaking speeds. Bella and Renesmee were back from their sorrowful goodbye. It was getting very close to the time to finally leave.

The rest of the family had already vacated the larger, main home. They had gone earlier to the new town to get everything set up and ready. Especially for Renesmee, their sweet little baby.

Bella and Renesmee were at the door now. Lightly stepping into the room with such discreet and inaudible sounds that a human would not have even registered their presence.

But, I was not human and turned around to greet them, after closing the last box of Renesmee's clothes. Alice had disagreed with bring anything old, but Bella had bribed her with a week worth of Bella Barbie.

" Daddy, Grandpa Charlie gave me cookies!" she laughed as she got throw onto my shoulder after I had picked her up.

Though she was still growing considerably fast, she had the heart and innocence of a two-year old, or at least Bella and I hoped.

I swung her in a circle and set her down on the lone bed in the room that was surrounded by boxes of all different sizes and shapes.

Bella's face showed many different expressions as I turned to lightly kiss her on the lips.

" How was the visit?'' I questioned lightly, hoping to not bring the mood down any further judging by Bella's face. Her face twisted into many emotions for a split second before she composed herself and answered.

" Why don't you show daddy, Renesmee, I have to go change. I'll be write back." She muttered, before leaving the room with a frown fixated on her face.

Renesmee looked confused onto why her mom looked so...anguished. She questioned me by showing me a glimpse of her mothers sad face.

" She's fine, just kind of sad to leave Forks and Charlie behind, you know?" I answered after a bit of thinking myself. "so, why don't you show me what happened at Charlie's so we can turn Momma's frown upside down?" I said, giving it a bit more humorous and brightness to bring the tone of the room higher.
