It's been a week since we were turned into cold blooded monsters. This life was horrid and I wanted to become human again. So did my mother but she didn't say anything about it. We were forced to havoc on innocent mortals' lives. I didn't like it one bit but we had to because it was the only way to obtain food.

Rudolph was like me, he didn't want to feed on mortals but he did it anyway. I had a guilty conscious but Rudolph seemed not too. I guess becoming a vampire turned his heart slightly cold. It was silly of me to say that. Vampires don't have hearts. We're dead. Rudolph is so sweet but when it comes to feeding, it seems like he's taken over by hunger.

Gregory and father longed for blood. They were the ones who didn't have a guilty conscious. I was disappointed in them. When they killed, they didn't think twice about it. But in order to live and be strong, I had to drink blood.

It was another night. Everything was the same, dark and damp. We were in a cemetery where we lived in England. We were about to go out for a "snack". I didn't want to go so I sat in front of the entry way of the crypt. Father came to the entrance and bumped into me.

"Anna! What are you doing?"

"I'm not going hunting."

"Sister, how will you feed then?" Rudolph asked coming around the corner of the crypt.

"I'll find a way."

"Darling, you must come with us. I don't want you to become weak and hungry." Mother said.

"No!"

"Anna!"

"I won't move. I refuse for any of us to feed on humans. What have they ever done to us!" I saw Gregory come around the corner and roll his eyes.

"Father, why can't we just go around her. She's only eight!"

"If you try to move me, i'll scream."

"Oh, no!" Rudolph exclaimed.

Rudolph has experience my screaming when he tried to scare me as a joke. My piercing scream filled the cemetery and woke up thousands of birds. They flew and squawked through the night.

"Her screaming can't be that bad." Gregory grabbed both of my arms and lifted me off the ground a bit.

"AHHHH!" Rudolph, mother and father held their hands to their ears to block my screeching scream.

"Gregory, put her down!" Rudolph yelled.

Gregory set me down and I stopped screaming. Everybody sighed in relief.

"Father, I'm hungry!" Gregory snarled.

"So am I. Anna, please let us through."

"No! We were once humans. How would you feel if creatures of the night wanted our blood!" Father fell silent.

"She does have a point, darling." Father groaned at mother's remark.

"I don't know what we will feed on then. We can't get out because of our eight year old daughter." Everybody paced back and forth.

"What about cows?" Rudolph suggested. We all glanced at each other.

"Do you have anything against that, Anna?" Mother asked.

I thought about it for a moment. I did like cows but they were only cows. Humans had a right to live their lives. I guess I'm okay with that.

"I suppose."

"YES! Can we feed now?" Gregory asked anxiously.

"Anna?" Father asked.

"Yes. I'm starving." I smirked. I stood up, turned into a bat, and headed out into the night sky. We were now off to find a barn to feast on cows.
