"Kakuzu. Can I ask you a question?" Hidan asked the miser.

"What do you want Hidan?" Kakuzu asked a little annoyed about being interupted from his reading.

"Nevermind." Hidan said a little annoyed with Kakuzu's attitude.

"What do you want Hidan." Kakuzu asked trying to sound a little less annoyed.

"Do... you..."

"Do I what, Hidan?" Kakuzu's annoyance vanishing seeing Hidan stuggle with a question. He never fumbles over things like talking, he's so good at it. Kakuzu thought.

Hidan took a deap breath and started again. "Do you love me?" He blurted out before he could stop himself.

Kakuzu was completely speachless. 'Do I love him', is that what he said? Why did he ask that? Does he love me? Can I tell him I love him or should I keep that little fact to myself? He thought to himself.

Hidan was starting to get a little worried, Kakuzu wasn't saying anything. He was going to kill Deidara for talking him into this. Of course he doesn't love me. Why would he love someone like me. Hidan thought to himself. " Why would he love someone like me."

"Why wouldn't I love someone like you?" Kakuzu took a slight step forward.

Hidan's eye widened. He hadn't realized he had said that out loud.

"You know what Hidan, I think I do love you." Hidan's eyes got even wider, if that were even possible. "Do you love me Hidan?"

"Yes...Yes I do love you." Hidnan said after a few minutes of silence.

"Good, then kiss me you fucking masochist." Kakuzu said, grabing Hidan around the waist, pulling his close, and pressing his lips to the smaller man's, in a very forceful kiss.

Hidan felt something warm against his bottom lip. After a second he realized it was Kakuzu's tongue, begging for an entrance Hidan was all too happy to give to him. Hidan didn't even bother fighting for dominance for he knew he would loose. The kiss last a very long time, but the need for air became too great for them to ignore so they broke it.

"I love you, my little masochist."Kakuzu said hugging Hidan close.

"And I love you, my miser."Hidan replied, snuggling close to Kakuzu.
