The Twilight Ninja
It was a crisp cool day in Fork, Washington. The fall breeze rustling the leaves of the trees outside. Bella sat in chemistry class, right beside her beloved Edward, waiting for the teacher to come into the room. Bella hated chemistry class. It was seriously the most useless class in all of school, but her councilor made her take it because she needed a science credit to graduate. Edward slowly grasped her hand and kissed it, showing his eternal love for her. Bella smiled a little and looked out the window, she saw something strange. It looked almost like a person, but it moved faster than any person she had ever seen. She turned to Edward "look over there," she said to him.
"Hmm?" Edward replied and looked out the window. All of the sudden he got a serious look on his face. "I can hear somethings thoughts, it has bad intentions." He looked out more, and tried to triangulate the psychic signal. "somethings not right," he said "stay here, I'll be back." he got up and gave Bella a passionate kiss.
"Be careful my love," she moaned.
"Don't worry about me," Edward whispered, "I'm the one who's immortal, you're the one I need to keep safe." He kissed her one last time before heading out. He took one last passionate look at her before walking out the door. The chemistry teacher was walking in just as Edward was walking out.
"Where are you going Mr. Cullen," He asked angrily "class is about to start."
"I'm sorry sir," Edward replied, "I just got really sick, I'll try and be back as soon as I can."
"Fine," the chemistry teacher answered, "but if you're not back in 30 minutes I'm marking you absent."
"Duly noted" said Edward, and he walked on down the hall, trying to locate the signal. All of the sudden he noticed a problem, there were 4 voices he had never heard before. He headed for the nearest one. It lead him strait to the janitor's closet. He cautiously opened it. All of the sudden something pulled him in and threw him against the wall. However before he hit the janitors stash, something else stopped him, obviously to avoid the noise. Although it was dark, Edward, being a vampire, had other senses to go by. He smelled two distinct people in the room. He first grabbed the person who had grabbed him and threw that person against the other one in the room. This time there was a loud noise as they hit the stash. Edward heard that one of them, moaning in pain, was a girl. Edward smelled the light switch and turned it on. They were both lying on the floor. They looked up at Edward, looked at each other then nodded. The girl, who had pink hair and emerald green eyes, jumped up on her feet and kicked Edward in the face. Edward backed up, surprised by the strength of her kick. The boy, who had short spiky golden lock hair and eyes as blue as the ocean, then jumped up and grabbed Edward, holding him in an arm lock. Edward was surprised, they were almost, but not quite, as strong as vampires and very skilled, skilled enough in fact that he was now trapped.
"You bastards," Edward yelled, "you'd better not hurt Bella, I'll suck you dry!"
The boy began to laugh. "We're not gonna hurt Bella," he said loudly, "in fact that's part of why we're here, we think she's in grave danger, and we know you're not good enough to protect her from what's coming."
"What, what are you talking about," Edward demanded, "I am so good enough, she's my love, I'd die without her."
"Well this something you've never encountered before," said the girl. "Look, my name's Sakura and my friend who beat you so soundly name is Naruto, and we're here to help."
