Hii! Well I've been trying to get back into the writing business but my schedules been real packed. Luckily my finals just finished and (aside from work) I got a little bit more free time. So hopefully I can get back into my writing business. Haha! Hope you guys like this one, I got this idea during my psychology class when I was doodling random pictures of Gaz and one expression she had looked curious but reluctant. Well ill stop drabbling. DISCLAIMER: I don't own Invader Zim or the characters. If I did, we'd all be screwed.
The moment the bell rang, everyone jumped out of their seats, almost in sync, and bolted towards the door. Due to everyone running towards the same direction, everyone got stuck in the tiny doorway, limbs wriggling in every direction, hitting other students in the face, all filled with panicked yelling.
"My-my organs!"
One of the students shouted.
"What morons…"
a purple haired girl, still calmly seated in her desk, clicking away at her Gameslave paid no mind to her trapped classmates in the doorway. This happened every day so she grew accustomed to the idiotic students almost crushing each other to death. She hopped out of her chair, her eyes never leaving her game and nonchalantly walked towards the window, in which was her usual exit to the playground so she could beat her level of Haunted Zombie Piggys in solitude. But she was stopped suddenly by Mr. Elliot who asked her to stay for a minute so he could discuss something with her. Gaz sighed irritably but agreed. Mr. Elliot was a nice teacher. He enjoyed teaching and was eager helping young minds develop and expand but he's never been able to get to Gaz like he hoped. He had this obligation to try and be her father figure seeing that her biological parent seemed to be absent from her life. He felt that since he was also in that position when he was her age, maybe he could reach out to her, much to Gaz's chagrin. She didn't feel the need for company, much less a chipper teacher who thought he could be her psychiatrist/father figure. She just wanted to be alone and beat her game, was that too much to ask?
"Gaz, you know that the school Halloween dance is coming up right?"
Apparently it was.
"Yeah, so?"
Was all she said as she kept fighting virtual zombie piggys. Mr. Elliot then awkwardly cleared his throat.
"Aren't you interested in going? A lot of girls your age would be."
Her thumbs paused for a quick second, making her teacher flinch, but then continued at the buttons.
"Im not like all the other girls. You've said that yourself."
Mr Elliott then sighed, seeing his attempts at persuading her to go out and have a social life was failing. He ratted his brain for any ideas that could possibly get her to change her mind but she was a hard one to convince. When he looked back up his eyes were greeted by an opened window and no sign of the purple haired girl. He sighed and leaned over in his desk for something blunt and heavy to free the stuck children in the doorway.
I know just a small drabble right now but ill make it longer in the future. Let me know what yall think so far.
