Percy and Annabeth
Annabeth's POV
I'm so nervous. Usually I don't let my nerves get the best of me, but this is an exception! Athena still doesn't approve of our relationship, Helen refuses to come to the wedding, (she doesn't like Percy.. Or me) and she absolutely forbids that the twins come, and dad doesn't like to cross Helen. I watched Piper (maid of honor) and Hazel, Calypso, Rachel, and Reyna walk down the aisle, accompanied by Jason, Frank, Leo, and Nico. Then I watched Chuck toddle down the aisle as ring bearer, and Malcom's 5 year old daughter daughter Sophie walked down the aisle as flower girl. Then I heard music, which I recognized as the bridal walk, and the doors opened, revealing me. I had on a white fishtail dress, with a sweetheart neckline that was trimmed with diamonds. I held a bouquet of white roses, and accompanied by Chiron, I walked down the aisle, where Aphrodite decided that she was going to be the pastor at our wedding.
When I got up to the aisle, Percy started to speak.
"Annabeth, despite the fact that I seemed totally oblivious until we were 15, I have always loved you. I, Perseus Theodore Jackson take you, Annabeth Marie Chase to be my lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us apart. I promise to always kill spiders for you, (laughs from the audience), to cook you blue food each and every day, and I will always be there for you." he finished. I will admit, I teared up a little bit. Ok, a lot.
"Percy, I've liked you ever science I told you that you drool when you sleep. It may not always have seemed like it, but before we were 15, I had fallen for you really, really hard. Regardless, I have always and will always love you *Tears up* I, Annabeth Marie Chase, take you, Perseus Jackson to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us apart. I promise to tell you that I love you every single day, and when you're sick, I promise to always feed you blue chicken noodle soup, regardless of how much I dislike germs. And I promise that I will thank you every day for falling into Tartarus with me instead of making me face it alone." There were tears streaming down my face at this point, luckily Piper used waterproof makeup.
"Chuck, can we have the rings please" asked Hera. Chuck handed out the two rings in his palm instead of on the pillow because Chuck had already eaten half of the pillow. Percy sniggered. And then I started to giggle, and soon the entire crowd was laughing along with us. Hera took the rings and gave them to us."With this ring, I thee wed." said Percy, slipping the silver band inlaid with blue diamonds onto my ring finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." I said, and slipped the ring onto his finger.
"I now pronounce you man and wife- ATHENA CLOSE YOUR EYES Percy, you may kiss your bride!" He dipped me and kissed me, and the entire room was clapping.
