The pretty girl looked at herself in the mirror, her brown hair fell lightly around her shoulders and her big blue eyes were as wide as could be. She had on a pair of jeans with ballet flats and a pretty yellow shirt, compliments, of course, of her mother. She sighed and sat on her new bed. She couldn't believe her mother was asked to open a store in this town, the middle of no where, causing her, once again, to start a new school in the middle of her junior year.
"Julie, sweetheart, you're gonna be late for your first day." Brooke Davis walked into her daughter's new bedroom. Brooke Davis lived in New York City in college, before having Julie and moving to a exclusive little town in New Jersey to raise her. Before Brooke knew it, her fashion line took off, causing her and Julie to move every year or so.
"I have an idea." Julie walked over to her mom with her hands on her hips "How about I don't go?"
"Nice try Jules." Brooke kissed her daughter on her forehead "You're going."
"Mom I don't know anyone! We haven't even met the neighbors yet!" Julie whined.
Brooke put her hands on Julie's shoulders and looked her daughter in the eye "I know how hard this must be, but I talked to Victoria and this will be the last time we're gonna move for a while. You'll finish high school here, as long as you like the school, and everything will be okay."
Julie shrugged "I guess."
"C'mon, let's get you to school." Brooke said, following her daughter out to the car.

"Noah! What in god's name are you doing up there?" Haley Scott called to her son from the bottom of the stairs.
"Sorry Ma." A handsome young boy with dark hair and big blue eyes ran down the stairs and into the kitchen where his parents and little brother were eating breakfast.
"Morning." Noah said, grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting down at the table.
"Will you bring me to play basketball later at the River Court?" Noah's little brother, Clay, asked.
Noah ruffled Clay's hair "After I get home from practice, okay?"
Clay smiled "Okay."
"You better get going." Haley looked at the time "You're gonna be late."
Noah stood up and kissed his mother, said goodbye to his family, and left for school.

Julie walked into school nervously and stood in the hallway, wondering where the main office was.
"Excuse me?" she said to a boy walking past her.
"Yea?" he stopped and faced her.
"Where is the main office?" she asked politely.
"You're new, huh?" he said to her "C'mon, follow me."
She smiled and followed him "Thanks."
"So, where'd you move from?" he asked.
"The last place we lived was California. We move a lot though." She told him as they approached the main office.
"Well, here's the office." He said "Oh, and I'm Noah." He offered his hand "Nice to meet you."
"Julie." She said shaking his hand "Nice to meet you too."
"Well I'll see you around." He said with a wave, walking away.
