Prologue

My name is Clove Hannah Russell. I was a tribute in the 74th Hunger Games. I killed 3 tributes in the bloodbath. I almost killed Katniss Everdeen, I was killed by Thresh, the tribute from District 11. Cato was my district partner. Now it's my turn to tell my story. I am not the blood thirsty, malicious, monster everyone thinks I am. No that is not me. I have a heart, and feelings just like everyone else in the world. I'm going to start my story during training, everyone knows about the reaping, I was chosen, Cato volunteered.
