Author's Note: I hate this b*tch so much...but her character is...intriguing. So, here this is.
THIS IS FROM ARTEMIS' POV, SO DONT BE SURPRISED BY HER "LOGIC".

Artemis sat alone in her temple, her koris were playing and having fun without her, and Acheron was away hunting Daimons with the Dark-Hunters. She could go to the other gods, but even though they were family, she never reallyconnected with them and felt they only accepted her because they had to. Like the moon she was the goddess of, even with all the stars in the sky around her she was completely alone. Not even her brother cared about her, he only cared about her blood, which he needed to survive. Even her daughter wasn't fully hers, despite all the love Artemis had given her and still held for her. Despite being a goddess, adored by the humans, Artemis couldn't help but wonder if there was something wrong with her.
But of course there wasn't! She was a goddess, she was perfect. Gods had no flaws, it was why they were superior to the humans and had powers while the humans did not. Humans loved perfection, it was why they adored and defended their gods so. So, why, then, did Acheron not love her? She loved him, she was willing to take him into her chambers and risk being caught, she gave him her virginity, and still he did not love her. She had even given him a daughter, a child he'd always wanted and a child he loved. Sure, she'd made some mistakes, like letting him be beaten by her priests and letting her brother kill him, but he was willing to love all these Dark-Hunters, who had made mistakes, then why couldn't he love her?
She was a goddess, he was a god. Gods got what they want, and she wanted him. But no matter what she did, it was never enough to make him love her. She would never give up, surely someday he would see and love her as much as she loved him, but for now she would settle with having his body. She created things to tie them together, his need to feed on her (Tory had gotten rid of that), and the Dark-Hunters. He was willing to give himself temporarily to her for the sake of his Dark-Hunters, and she used that. Now, she had him whenever his Dark-Hunters found someone to love, which, lucky for her, was happening quite frequently. Whenever he was with her, she could pretend he loved her. Could pretend he was willing. But the fantasy never lasted long, he never let it. He always said or did something to ruin it.
And she punished him for it. How dare he take away the one thing that made her truly happy. How dare he not love her! In their early days, she'd attacked him out of fear. A human reaction, and yet he couldn't forgive her for it, even with her apologies, despite the fact goddesses' didn't apologize. Now, her attacks were all frustration and anger. She didn't apologize, she didn't need his forgiveness. She wanted his love, but he would never give her it. So she'd have him.
If he wouldn't give his heart and soul to her, then she'd break them as much as she could. His body would need to be kept intact, of course, except for punishment or bartering. She began to pace, anxiously awaiting his next visit and what they could do together, what she could do to him.
